Boston Marathon: The Winged Feet

A collaboration between HCA and 26.2 Foundation

We invite artists to submit their design ideas for a project celebrating the 100th time Hopkinton served as the starting line of the Boston Marathon. Selected artists will be paired with a local business sponsor who will provide a stipend to cover the cost of art materials.

In the latest highlights, Girls Basketball hosted Dover-Sherborn, Swimming took on Dedham, Boys Hockey hosted Bellingham, Wrestling celebrated Senior night vs Norton, Alpine Ski competed for the 1st time of the season and Girls Hockey hosted Ursuline Academy.

Author Susan Wilson at Hopkinton Historical Society Jan 21st at 2pm

Author Susan Wilson will speak on her recent biography of Dr. Susan Dimock (1847-1875) Women and Children First: The Trailblazing Life of Susan Dimock, MD. Dr. Dimock moved to Hopkinton in the mid-1860s with her mother and other family members, where they ran the Hopkinton Hotel. Young Susan also taught in the Hopkinton public schools. Come join us at the Hopkinton Historical Society, Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm to learn more about this remarkable 19th century woman for whom Boston's Dimock Health Center is named. Signed books will be available for purchase from the author.
