The Hopkinton CC Charitable Foundation Strives for Record Grant Distribution Year; Announces Mental Health Collaborative as 2023 Gala Spotlight Grantee

The Hopkinton Country Club Charitable Foundation (HCCCF) announced that their 2023 grant request period resulted in a record number of grant applications that support youth development and economic assistance programs in MetroWest. As a result, the HCCCF is working towards an aggressive grant distribution cycle by the end of 2023. “The HCCCF has been blessed to have such generous donors and sponsors who have enabled us to help those in our communities that may not have been able to help themselves. Without their support this would not be possible.

Hopkinton Public Library Foundation Provides Funding for Free Gaming for Young Adults and Music and Movement Programs at the Library

Oct. 19, 2023, Hopkinton, Mass. – Hopkinton Public Library Foundation (HPLF) is thrilled to announce the funding of a series of free, drop-in gaming events at Hopkinton Public Library geared to local Middle and High School students. Pre-teens and teens may play several systems including Nintendo Switch, XBox Series S, PlayStation 4, Oculus Quest 2, brought by One Up Games. The events will be held on the five early release dates for Hopkinton Middle and High School this academic year. The next event will be on Friday October 20th, from 1-4 p.m.

-Westwood defeats Hopkinton in Shootout 49 to 42

Westwood improves to 4 and 2 with the Win, Hopkinton falls to 4 and 2. Westwood produced 369 yards of Offense while Hopkinton tallied 405 yards. The Hillers outscored Westwood 28 to 21 in the 2nd half and got within 6 points after falling behind 34 to 14 but fell short as the Westwood potent offense in the 1st half proved to be too much to handle.

Hopkinton Hillers Boys Soccer Captures HUGE 2-1 win over Ashland!

-Hopkinton Hillers Boys Soccer defeats Ashland Clockers 2 to 1
On a cloudy chilly Tuesday afternoon, Hiller Boys Soccer captured a tough, physical 2-1 win over a very good Ashland Clockers team. The Hopkinton Hillers improve to 9-2-3 with the win, while Ashland fell to 9-4-1 on the season. The Hillers currently rank #10 in the D2 playoff bracket while Ashland ranks #5 in the D3 playoff bracket.
