The 3rd episode of our new series "Hopkinton Hangout Hour" took place on Friday (3/27) and featured John Ritz of the Hopkinton Trails Club and Hopkinton based musician, Barbara Kessler. View the episode and more about the show below!

About the Show: While we are practice social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, you can watch us live on HCAM TV as well as our YouTube page with "Hopkinton Hangout" every weekday from 2 until 3pm.

Hopkinton Youth and Family Services Gift Card Program Update

Thank you to those that have donated. The gift cards have been put to use. As members of the community have been impacted the needs are increasing! If you are in a place and would like to donate you can place a gift card in an envelope marked Youth and Family Services and drop it in the box outside the town hall door. The mail is being checked twice a day and it will get distributed to the department. The ecards have been working as well! If you should have any questions please feel free to reach out to YC at youthchair@hopkintonma.gov.

Hopkinton Independent Debuts New Website

The Hopkinton Independent debuted its new website, HopkintonIndependent.com, on Tuesday. The new site features all the articles from the the print edition along with some original web content posted daily.

“We are extremely proud to debut our new website,” Hopkinton Independent publisher David Bagdon said. “We had been planning to introduce the site later this year, but due to the coronavirus situation we felt it was important to have the site available now to better serve our readers as they seek consistent reliable information in these trying times.”

Hopkinton Health Director, Shaun McAuliffe to Join HCAM's "Hangout Hour" Thursday (3/26) at 2pm

Tune in to our 2nd episode on Thursday March 26th at 2:00 pm, when the program will feature Hopkinton Public Health Director, Shaun McAuliffe and Public Health Nurse, Kasey Mauro to talk about the COVID-19 Pandemic. We also invite community members to comment or ask questions on our YouTube stream or Facebook page.

Hopkinton Scouts Edible Book Festival 2020 to Take Place Online

Hopkinton Girl Scouts invite book and food lovers of all ages to Hopkinton’s NEW ONLINE Edible Book Festival.
To enter, make a creation** related to a book or reading, and take a photo of it. To enter, submit the photo and attached entry form. All entries are due by April 1st.

**Please note, for this year's competition, entries can be made with any materials, whether edible or non-edible, so long as it relates to a book or reading.

Entries fall into the following categories:
1) Child Category: Single Baker who a child 8th grader or younger;

HCAM presents the "Hopkinton Hangout Hour" the daily show will air on our YouTube page and on HCAM TV (Comcast Channel 8, Verizon Channel 30) daily starting this Wednesday (3/25) from 2 to 3pm. This daily hour-long show will typically have two thirty minute segments and the conversations will feature many various topics.
