Video: Hopkinton Senior Center Hosts Open House and Annual Bocce Challenge

The Hopkinton Senior Center hosted an open house as well as their annual Bocce event featuring the Senior Center staff, Seniors team, Hopkinton Police and Fire. An International Marathon Center in Hopkinton Comes One Step Closer to Reality

Promising major developments in both the marathon profile of Hopkinton and the international recognition of distance running, the 26.2 Foundation today announced that it has been named a Community Partner of the Boston Athletic Association (BAA), and that its selection will allow the Foundation to significantly increase the number of invitational entries available for its ‘Team Inspire’ runners. Registration opens today for the Foundation's 2020 Boston Marathon team (details below).

On Wednesday September 25th at 7pm, the Hopkinton Area Land Trust will host their annual meeting at the HCAM studios (77 Main Street, Lower Level). Vice President of the organization, Barry Rosenbloom talked about what you can expect at the meeting.

Video: Hopkinton Scouts Beautify Walking Trails

As part of his Eagle-Scout project, Hopkinton Resident, Ethan Ritterbusch along with a team of Scouts worked hard this past summer to beautify the Hopkinton trails. The Scouts constructed 2 new walking trails on the Hughes property. Part of the project included construction of a 0.1 mile walking loop as well as a 0.23 mile trail. The Scouts also constructed walkways and bridges over waterways.

Video: Weston Nurseries Hosts 3rd Annual Blooms, Brews and BBQ Event for Jimmy Fund Walk

This past weekend, Weston Nurseries hosted their 3rd annual Blooms, Brews and BBQ event to benefit the Jimmy Fund Walk. Last year, Weston Nurseries raised over $29,000 for the walk and by the looks of the crowd this year, they certainly raised a lot more.

Soul Function is a band of veteran musicians who grew up listening to everything from Chicago, Tower of Power, Doobie Brothers, to Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Sam and Dave and just about everything in between. Now it's their joy to share this music with people of all ages who love to dance as much as they love to play.
