Our 101st edition of HCAM Sports Talk airs on Wed, November 2nd 2022 at 5:30pm. In this episode, we have highlights from week 7 of the Hopkinton Hillers 2022-23 Fall sports season and then Jared Keene and Andy Barron join the show to talk NFL Trade Deadline, MIAA Playoffs and make Week 9 NFL Picks.

The Hopkinton Women’s Club will be holding its monthly meeting on Monday, November 14th at 9:30 a.m. at the Hopkinton Public Library beginning with a social gathering and followed by our business meeting and program.

PROGRAM: The program will be a talk by Jessica Migneault, Assistant Director of the Hopkinton Senior Center. She will share the history of the center, move to its current location, facilities, services and classes.

Performance will take place:
November 17 at 4:30 PM
November 18 & 19 at 7:00 PM
November 20 at 3:00 PM

Hopkinton High School hosted the annual 2022-23 Seniors Halloween Costume Contest. It was another successful year featuring very creative and fun costumes.

The monthly veterans breakfast will take place November 4th.

The breakfast starts at 0900 hours at the Senior Center, 28 Mayhew Street.

Tribute will be paid to comrades who have passed-on since the previous breakfast, and those who are on "sick call" will be acknowledged. It is a generous gesture to visit one or more of our ailing local veterans. The local American Legion post has volunteered to lead the Pledge of Allegiance, and blessing of the meal.

When Rocky’s family brought him to us, they had no choice. They had fallen on difficult times and became housing insecure. They tried to keep him with them but it just wasn’t possible. They brought him to Baypath hoping that his time in temporary housing would end and he would get to be back in a warm, wonderful home. So far, that hasn’t happened.

During Week 7 of the Hopkinton Hillers 2022-23 Fall Sports season, Hiller Boys and Girls Soccer capture the TVL Large title, Girls Volleyball hosts Ashland for "Dig Pink" night plus more!

The 26.2 Foundation along with the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce recently gathered at Startline Brewery to show off the new Boston Marathon banners and accepted a generous donation from Unibank.

The Hopkinton High School "Habitat for Humanity" club participated in "Operation Playhouse" and worked hard to build a playhouse for the Child of a Veteran. A Disney theme was used in the design.

"Operation Playhouse is a unique program that benefits local veterans and military families and their children. Children of veterans are often left with a one-parent household and have to cope with feelings of loss and uncertainty. The playhouses provide a special place for family members to bond, play, dream, and think. It is a “home” of their own."
