Over the Rainbow Book Club at Hopkinton Public Library

Over the rainbow book club is a book group for adults and it will explore works of both fiction and nonfiction written by LGBTQ+ authors or with LGBTQ+ themes.

The club meets in the Ellsworth Room at the Hopkinton Public Library on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30 pm to 7:45.

The first meeting is March 26. The book to be discussed will be "White Houses" by Amy Bloom. The Library will have copies available at the Circulation desk within the next week or two for patrons to check out.

Join the Children's and Teen departments at the Hopkinton Public Library for "Artist Studio: Learning to Draw Outer-Space with Artist Rick Stromoski!" Participants will follow along with the artist to create their own images! Patrons may attend in-person at the library or via Zoom (registration required to receive the Zoom link).

Danielle Cook, Reference and Technology Supervisor at the Hopkinton Public Library stopped by the HCAM studios and talked with Jim Cozzens about this years annual Hopkinton Public Library Winter Reading Marathon. Sign-ups for the reading marathon started today (Feb 12th) and the program starts next Sunday (February 18th).

Hopkinton Public Library to Start "Reading Marathon"

Library Director Nanci Hill and the Hopkinton Public Library are excited to announce the Reading Marathon in conjunction with the 100-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon starting in Hopkinton.

Sign up for the challenge at the library at any desk. Sign-up begins on Feb. 12. The program begins on Feb. 18. Participants may also join after the start date.

Hopkinton/DS Girls and Hopkinton Boys earn HUGE wins in TVL Hockey Double-Header

Hopkinton/DS Girls and Hiller Boys hockey were both in action at the New England Sports Center this past Wednesday night and both teams captured big wins!

#34 ranked Hopkinton/Dover-Sherborn Girls Hockey Co-Op improved to 5-11-2 with an overtime upset 3 to 2 win over #24 Norwood. Norwood falls to 6-10-1.

Hopkinton Sophomore, Lucey Jean netted all 3 goals for the Hillers and Hop/DS, Nipmuc Sophomore, Riley Collura was fantastic in net. The game-winning goal was scored on a breakaway by Lucey Jean at 1:13 left in the 5-minute OT period.
