The Hopkinton Emergency Fund, is thrilled to announce the opportunity to bid on this auction item. Over the years, Officer Phil Powers has donated many rides to school. Your student may have the distinction of taking ONE OF THE LAST RIDES with “OP” prior to his retirement in early 2022!

Proceeds support the Hopkinton Emergency Fund’s mission of providing temporary financial assistance to residents facing challenging times.

Hopkinton Hillers News and Notes 10-15-21, Hillers Football, Girls Volleyball Capture Wins!

-Hopkinton Football defeats Medfield 34-21
Hopkinton improves to 2 and 4 with the win, Medfield fell to 0 and 6.

QB Robert Litscher capped-off a 4 minute, 14 second 80 yard drive with a 2 yard TD run to open up the game. CB Braden Hicks then had an interception on the first Medfield drive leading to a 70 yard TD run by Joe Carrazza to make it a 13-0 game at 4:19 left in the 1st quarter.

The Hopkinton Cultural Council hosted the annual "Art on the Trail" display. This years event was inspired by the 125th Boston Marathon which took place on Monday, October 11th. The display is entitled "A Walk to Inspire". View highlights from the opening ceremony below, the Art will be on display along the Center Trail until October 17th.

The 26.2 foundation along with the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, Startline Brewery and Marty's Fine Wine's hosted a ceremony to recognize the accomplishments of Bobbi Gibb and unveiled a statue that will be on display during the Boston Marathon route.

"Bobbi Gibb, the first woman to run the Boston Marathon, is sharing her lifetime wish – to sculpt a life-sized statue of a female runner and have it placed on the Boston Marathon course.
