Marathon Weekend Film Screening of “BOSTON” the Documentary in Hopkinton Q&A After the Show with the Director and Executive Producer

Hopkinton Center for the Arts presents a special screening of BOSTON, a documentary film about the world’s most legendary race — the Boston Marathon. Narrated by Matt Damon, and with exclusive documentary rights granted by the Boston Athletic Association, the film chronicles the story of the iconic race from its beginnings 120 years ago with only 15 runners to the present day. The film premiered in April 2017. Stay after the film for a Q&A with Director/Producer Jon Dunham and Executive Producer Tom Derderian.

The annual Special Olympics vs Hopkinton Police Basketball game took place this past Saturday at Hopkinton Middle School. Despite lots of practice by the Police Department, the talented Special Olympics team put up triple digits and took the game 100 to 50 to stay undefeated. MICCA Concert and Choral Festivals 2019

The Hopkinton Public Schools Music Department will once again be hosting and taking part in the 2019 Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Festivals the weekend of April 5th, 6th and 7th. Performing groups from Hopkinton High School and the Eighth Grade groups, plus the Honors Chorus from the Hopkinton Middle School will be participating.

Enter Stage Left’s upcoming performance of this Shakespearean classic is like none other.

Directed by Jennifer Rich and featuring performances by a dozen local actors, this Macbeth is reimagined in “Dieselpunk” style.

Dieselpunk is a genre that mixes elements of the 1920s, 30s, 40s, science fiction, and pieces of modern day, to create its own unique world – a world unbalanced by war and on the cusp of explosion.

Like we said ... you’ve never seen Macbeth done like this.
