The gathering will honor the memory of Tony DeStefano, who served during WW II, and together with Hal Pentheny and Don Hitchings (who both lived in Hopkinton) was a key Corsair technician on Okinawa.

Hopkinton’s Enter Stage Left Theater to Perform “The Laramie Project” in October

Enter Stage Left Theater is proud to present The Laramie Project, a 2000 play by Moisés Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project about the reaction to the 1998 murder of gay University of Wyoming student Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming.

Directed by Paul Champlin and featuring a cast of 16 from Hopkinton and surrounding towns, the three-act play focuses on the aftermath of Shepard’s brutal killing.

The annual Hopkinton Senior Center Bocce challenge returned this year. Hopkinton Police, Fire along with seniors participated in a bocce tournament. In the first match, Hopkinton Police defeated Hopkinton Fire, in the 2nd match the Senior Center Keep Movin team defeated the Seniors and then Police took home the championship trophy in the final match. Last year Hopkinton Hillers Field Hockey finished the COVID-Shortened season with a record of 3-6-1. This year they are looking to improve and are led by 3 experienced captains. Head Coach, Rebecca Abate heads into her 3rd season at the helm. 10th with the program overall.
