"Celebrate the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 15 (Patriot’s Day) with the 2nd Annual Marathon Spectacular! Weston Nurseries invites you to party with us less than 1 mile from the start of the race. Eat, drink, dance and have fun all while cheering on the runners as they go by!

Weston Nurseries, along with Start Line Brewing Company, and Marty’s Fine Wines are hosting this event to support the 26.2 Foundation. All proceeds from this event will benefit their mission to promote the sport of marathoning.

–Blackstone Valley Wealth Management is pleased to announce the offering of a $1,000
scholarship to be given to a Hopkinton High School student graduation this spring. To be eligible for the Blackstone
Valley Wealth Management Annual Scholarship, the student must be:

• Currently a senior at Hopkinton High School, graduating in 2019.
• Planning to pursue a higher education at a college or university immediately after high school
• A child in a single-parent home who can display financial need.

On Monday, February 11th, a Special Town Meeting was held with the main purpose being if the town shall approve a tax increment financing agreement with Lykan Bioscience LLC. The Bioscience firm is hoping to lease property at 97 South Street to construct a 63,600 square foot facility intended for clinical manufacturing.

The Board of Directors of the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce urge your attendance at a Special Town Meeting, which will be held Monday evening, February 11th, 7:00 PM, at Hopkinton Middle School. At issue is a property tax relief incentive to ensure that Lykan Bioscience will sign on to occupy long-vacant industrial lab space at 97 South Street.

At this past Tuesdays meeting, the Board of Selectmen met with executives from a Bioscience firm called "Lykan Bioscience". The firm is currently located in Phoenix, Arizona but is looking to expand into Hopkinton. Lykan described themselves as an "emerging manufacturer of cell & gene therapies."

Weston Nurseries hosted their First Indoor Farmers Market on Saturday December 15th 2018. Five more indoor markets will take place, all on Saturdays 9am until 1pm, the scheduled dates for the 2019 markets are: 1/19. 2/23. 3/23. 4/20, 5/18.

A Real Estate firm by the name of "Guaranteed Rate" opened up at 22 South Street about a year ago. They hosted their ribbon cutting this afternoon and were officially welcomed to town. View highlights from the event below!
