Bill's Pizza Receives Approval from Selectmen

The Board of Selectmen approved a request from Bill's Pizza for a full liquor license Tuesday Night. Currently Bills Pizza has a section 12 wine & malt license but will now have an all alcohol license. The application also gave Bill's Pizza approval for altering their premises. Bill's Pizza plans on upgrading part of the premises into a fully operational bar.

How do you begin to thank a person who has given selfless and dedicated service to her community? For starters you have a party. And that is just what colleagues, family and friends are planning for Maureen Dwinnell who will retire, at the end of the year, after 26 years, 8 months, and 8 days as the Treasurer/Collector for Hopkinton. In addition to her work as Treasurer/Collector, Maureen also served as Selectman for 6 years and as the Chairman for 5 of those years.
 

The Hopkinton Library Announces Temporary Home

The Hopkinton Public Library released the below announcement detailing their temporary home. The Hopkinton Library will undergo a huge rebuild over the next year (or longer) and announced they will be moving to 65 South Street in Hopkinton while the rebuild happens. Hopkinton Drug 27th Annual Holiday Open House

Hopkinton Drug is hosting its 27th Annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6 from 11:00 AM-4:00 PM. There will be face painting, door prizes, food tastings, and raffles to benefit Project Just Because. Meet Hopkinton Drug's Wellness Counselors, sample natural products, enter raffles and meet representatives. Come visit with Santa on Saturday and Sunday, and bring a camera for pictures! There will also be plenty of activities on both days.

Golden Pond Assisted Living Employment Fair

Join the Golden Pond team! Golden Pond is looking for passionate, dedicated and dependable employees to work in their Assisted Living Community in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. They will be performing immediate interviews for CNA/HHA and Housekeeping positions at their Employment Fair on Saturday, November 21 from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM at 50 West Main Street in Hopkinton. Veterans Can Head Over to Snappy Dogs for Free Lunch Today!

In honor of Veterans Day, Snappy Dogs is giving Veterans lunch on the house today. They posted on their facebook page the following:

Dear Veterans, young and old, please give Snappy Dogs the honor of allowing us to buy your lunch today. We look forward to your stories and recollections.

Snappy Dogs is open until 3:30pm.
