Troop 11 Pie Fundraiser

Thanksgiving is almost here, and Scouts BSA Troop 11 has partnered with a phenomenal local bakery to create a delicious and timely pie fundraiser!! Troop 11 is one of the first all-girl Scouts BSA troops in the nation, and since February of 2019 has been engaging girls from Hopkinton and surrounding towns in programs that offer life, leadership, and outdoor skills – including survival and camping skills.

Winter Parking Ban Begins November 15

The DPW wishes to remind all Hopkinton residents of By-Laws pertaining to the parking of motor vehicles during the winter months.

Traffic Rules and Orders, Town of Hopkinton, Article lV, Section 8 “It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle, other than for an emergency, to park said vehicle on any street between the hours of 1:00am to 6:00am from November 15 through April 1.

Don't Miss the November Vets Breakfast

Friday, 5 November 2021, 0900 hours, Hopkinton Senior Center

The gathering will be sponsored by Veterans and Supporters of the Employee Resource Group at DellEMC.

All veterans are welcome to share in the camaraderie of fellow vets. In addition to great chow (including SOS) there will be remembrances of lost comrades, and identifying those on "sick call."

The Hopkinton Hillers Varsity Hockey team is coming off a 7-3-0 COVID shortened season. Last years Dover-Sherborn/Hopkinton Girls Co-Op team Coach, Scott Hayes will take over on the bench this season for the Boys team.

Coach Hayes takes over after the departure of 10-year Hillers Head Coach, Chris MacPherson. MacPherson won over 100 games and led the team to 2 TVL Titles, the 2019 Sectional Championship and to a State Championship in 2019 in which they fell to Wachusett in a close game.

Community Notice: SMOC Fuel Assistance Applications Currently being Accepted

Applications are currently being accepted for the home heating fuel assistance program through SMOC (South Middlesex Opportunity Council). The program runs from November to April, and is available to all households in Hopkinton if the total household income falls within their guidelines. A household of one qualifies for assistance with an income up to $39,105; a household of two qualifies with an income up to $51,137; etc.
