"The last radio call of Officer Phil Powers after 34 years of dedication to the Town of Hopkinton. He served the Hopkinton Public Schools as the School Resource Officer for 17 years. The generations of Hopkinton youth will always remember “OP”.

His impact on the Town and the Police department was profound. He will be greatly missed by all.

Phil, we wish you nothing but the best in your retirement, enjoy every moment of it! Thank you for all that you have done and sacrificed!"

Boys Basketball

-Hopkinton defeats Medfield 58 to 51
Nate Kasper had a team-leading 17 points, Cole Deisenroth had 11 points and Sam Pantera dropped 10 points for the Hillers. Caleb Lawson had a team-leading 18 points for Medfield. Hillers improve to 9 and 3 and pick up their 7th straight win. Medfield falls to 9 and 3.

Mental Health Collaborative, Inc a Hopkinton based nonprofit organization will be featured on WBZ-TV Boston, channel 4 morning news (5 AM and 6 AM) on Monday, January 31st, 2022.

Kate Merrill, American Emmy award-winning journalist and anchor for WBZ-TV channel 4 news will be interviewing Abbie Rosenberg, founder and executive director of Mental Health Collaborative (MHC) about the mental health literacy programming that the nonprofit offers to communities and schools.

Community Notice: Hopkinton Police and Fire Departments Share Safety Tips Ahead of This Weekend's Expected Winter Storm

The Hopkinton Police and Fire Departments would like to share the following safety precautions ahead of this weekend’s expected storm.

At this time, the National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Blizzard Warning for Middlesex County, including the Town of Hopkinton, for Saturday, Jan. 29. Snow accumulations of as many as 18-24 inches are possible, with wind gusts potentially approaching 60 miles per hour.
