The Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition (MBCC) will be hosting three virtual Against the Tide events in 2020 on August 15th, September 19th, and September 26th. MBCC is inviting participants to swim, run, walk, paddle, and/or kayak virtually in support of MBCC’s mission of cancer prevention.

Middlesex Sheriff’s Office urges residents to be alert for scams, fraud

Middlesex Sheriff Peter J. Koutoujian is reminding residents to be alert for scams and fraud targeting people across the country, including newly emerging scams related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Over the past several weeks, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General have all issued warnings regarding COVID-related scams.

The repair of the Cedar Street water main trench begins today and will last for approximately three weeks. You may wish to seek alternate routes while the construction is ongoing.

The work will occur Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am through 5:00 pm.

White Metal Day Collection resumes operations on Saturday July 25, 2020. White Metal Collection is the
last Saturday of each month from 7am - 3pm, and takes place at the ‘old’ Highway Department garage at 66
Fruit Street. Please Observe the Following: Wait in your vehicle until your turn, Face coverings must be
worn, and Social Distancing of 6 ft is required. Please note that after hours dumping is illegal - video
recording is being used and Police take notice.
