The 62nd edition of the Hopkinton Hangout Hour took place on Monday, June 22nd at 2pm. In the episode, we talked to players from last years Ashland Legion Baseball team and this years independent team (Lawrence Tang, Dom Cavanagh, Sam Farrell) plus Housing Authority Candidate, Darlene Hayes joined us for the 2nd half.

Our next edition of the Hopkinton Hangout Hour takes place on Tuesday, June 23rd at 2pm. In the episode, we will talk with Hopkins School Teacher, Marie Clark and School Committee Candidate, Lya Battle Rafferty.

The 61st edition of the Hopkinton Hangout Hour took place on Friday, June 19th at 2pm and the HCAM Team talked about Graduation speeches and advice for those graduating this year. Chuck Joseph was on for the 2nd half to share some Hopkinton History.

Community Notice: Water Use Advisory

With temperatures rapidly rising, groundwater levels rapidly declining and no rain in sight, water demands have skyrocketed. We are pumping at full capacity to try and maintain water use during one of the driest stretches for this time of year ever recorded since records started being kept in the 1800’s. We are nearing levels that will require us to start cutting pump production. It is imperative that everything follow the water use restrictions and only use water out doors when absolutely necessary.

Community Notice: Water Department Annual Drinking Water Quality Report

The Water Department has completed the annual drinking water quality report. This consumer confidence report is a requirement of the EPA and will be distributed by July 1st for the previous calendar year reporting period. In addition, copies will be made available on the Water Department web page, http://bit.ly/HopkintonWaterReport2019, and at the Water Department office, 83 Wood St., the Town hall and the Library, when those buildings open.

Town of Hopkinton Authorized to Commence Work on Main Street Corridor Project

Meeting yet another milestone for the Main Street Corridor Project, the Town of Hopkinton is pleased to announce the contractual approval of its agreement with the MassDOT Highway Division relative to the Signal and Intersection Improvements on Route 135 in Hopkinton. The Non-Participating Agreement and Notice to Proceed was approved on June 8, 2020.

“We are pleased that the Main Street Corridor Project continues to move forward and that another milestone that will allow MassDOT to advertise the project has been reached,” said Town Manager Norman Khumalo.
