Baypath Humane Society seeking loving home for bonded pair of dogs

By contributor,

Reba & Stella are total cuddle bugs who are happiest being together and in a lap! They are a lively pair who are interested in everything you're doing. They'll follow you around with their tails wagging the entire time.

Stella is an easygoing gal who brings comfort to her pal Reba. They have been together for seven years and are very bonded, so are looking for a home together.

Video: Meet Spencer at Baypath Humane Society

By contributor,

Meet Spencer -- or Mr. Wiggle Butt as his foster family affectionately calls him! He's a social butterfly who's excited to greet new people as friends. This happy boy loves nothing better than to snuggle under the covers with his humans. Rub his super soft belly and he'll be your best pal!

Fetch is Spencer's favorite pastime and he'll leap in the air to catch a ball or a toy. He enjoys going out on hikes in the woods, and then curling up on his bed afterwards with a nice stuffy toy.

Hopkinton Town Hall and Library Shut Down Due to Electrical Failure

By contributor,

The Hopkinton Town Hall and Public Library remain closed at this time due to an electrical problem that occurred earlier in the day. A short in the power service lines from the utility pole to the Town Hall resulted in a surge of power and eventual loss of power within the building. During this event a 1” heat pipe also burst as a result of the surge that traveled to a ground connecter attached to the pipe as part of the electrical grounding system. This leak was quickly addressed and at this time it does not appear to have caused any water damage.

Hopkinton Veterans' Breakfast December 7th 2018

By contributor,

Dear Veterans and Friends:

Local veterans will be gathering for breakfast on 7 December 2018, at 0900 hours, at the Senior Center. In addition to great chow, there is top notch camaraderie.

Our comrades who passed away during November will be remembered, and the condition of those who are on "Sick Call" will be updated. It is encouraging that several veterans are generous with their time, and visit and/or send cards to our ailing buddies. More of us should do this. Keep up the good work!
