MassBay to Hold Annual All Vehicle Show

MassBay Community College will hold its annual All Vehicle Show on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 8AM – 12PM at the MassBay Automotive Technology Center in Ashland. The show is free and open to the public, featuring vehicles of all genres – from 1930s roadsters to modern muscle cars to imported vehicles. The spectators that attend will vote for the top 20 vehicles and the People’s Choice Award, in addition the MassBay alumni will vote for the Alumni Choice Awards.

Community Notice: Today is Last Day to Register to Vote in Annual Town Meeting

Today is the last day to register to vote in the Annual Town Meeting (May 7, 2018) and Annual Town Election (May 21, 2018). To ensure those wishing to register can do so, I will be open until 8:00 PM tonight (April 17, 2018) to accept affidavits of voter registration which we will have available in the office at 80 South Street.

Community Notice: Fire Flow Tests to Take Place This Week

Please be advised that two required fire flow test will take place today and tomorrow on Hayden Rowe. The first is Tuesday, April 17th, at approximately 9:00 AM . The Second will be Wednesday, April 18th, also at approximately 9:00AM. Because these tests will take place on main transmission lines, customers may notice some discoloration during and after the tests throughout town. Please avoid doing any laundry, dishwasher loads or other water use activities, during this time. Any discoloration that may occur will eventually dissipate. Please check you water before using it.

Hopkinton Republican Town Committee Caucus Endorses Four Candidates

The Hopkinton Republican Town Committee Caucus endorsed four experienced and well qualified candidates for town office in the April 12th Caucus.

Brian Herr was endorsed for re-election to the Board of Selectmen. He currently serves on the Board of Selectmen and has been Chairman. Previously Brian has served the town on the Planning Board and the Personnel Committee.

Mark Hyman was endorsed for election to the Planning Board. Mark is the current Chairman of the Board of Appeals and is serving on the Zoning Advisory Committee.

Join the Hopkinton Chamber of Commerce on Marathon Monday, April 16th from 7am-4pm at Weston Nurseries for the Hopkinton Marathon Spectacular Event.

The event is being put on by Weston Nurseries, Start Line Brewing, and Marty's Fine Wines and we will have a Chamber Booth set up for the duration of the event, so drop by and visit us!

In the morning there will be music, coffee, breakfast trucks, and pastries.
