Tickets are available now for Live4Evan's Red Tie Gala to be held Saturday, March 3, 7:00 pm at the Crystal Room in Milford. Help them reach their goal of $30,000 for temporary housing for families of children being treated for congenital heart disease at Boston hospitals. Tickets are $75.00 per person until February 19, and $85.00 each after that and are available through live4evan.org.

Eversource has hired Stanley Tree to remove trees in Hopkinton that interfere with their power lines. That will occur from February 19 through March 9, 2018.

Additionally, Stanley Tree will be cutting trees on private property for which the property owner granted permission and they will be cutting trees on Town property for which the Tree Warden granted permission. The work zone includes Ash Street, North Mill Street, South Mill Street, Cross Street, and Front Street.

Project Just Because has announced that their second annual “Shamrock Shindig” will be held on March 10th, 2018 at The Center for the Arts at 98 Hayden Rowe in Hopkinton. The event will feature silent and live auctions, raffles, mystery packages, Irish dancers and music, a catered dinner with beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages, and more!

Chef McFall will cater the event with a focus on traditional St. Patty’s Day fare. Last year’s event was well attended with a variety of auction and raffle items and great food. Everyone’s Irish at this special event!

Happenings in Hopkinton: Hopkinton Women's Club Makes Valentines Day Bags for Serenity House plus Girls Indoor Track Qualifies for Nationals and Hopkinton Ranked 3rd safest town in State.

An organization called Safewise, who works to increase home and community safety released the "Top 20 Safest Cities in Massachusetts for 2018" list and Hopkinton is ranked towards the top of the list.

The Center School Re-use advisory team was formed to decide the future of the Center school building. This past weekend they hosted their 1st public forum to seek input from the public. View the forum and highlights below.

The Hopkinton Garden Club is soliciting applications for its 2018 Scholarship available to applicants maintaining legal residence in Hopkinton, Massachusetts for at least one year. Scholarships are available for high school or college students or any adult interested in pursuing a career in the fields of Horticulture, Floriculture, Landscape Design, Forestry, Conservation, Environmental Sciences or related fields.
