The Primarily Potters Collective is comprised of 9 artists (Ineke Ceder, Mary Edwards, Gabrielle Gura-Gold, Martha Gold, Carol Mecagni, Hana Reilly, Jill Soloway, Sue Valentine, Beth Zeal) who have been exhibiting their work together for over 20 years. They each enjoy making useful and decorative objects that are unique in design.

Hopkinton Garden Club Thanks Local Business Sponsors

The Hopkinton Garden Club wants to express its gratitude to the local businesses who generously contributed to our 2017 “Help Hopkinton Bloom” sponsorship program. With their help, the club replaced many plantings in downtown garden areas they maintain, installed beautiful red mandevilla vines in our Main Street planters, and created a savings program to gradually replace our aging planters.

Greyhound Friends Update: Trial Date Set for Animal Cruelty Charges

The Greyhound Friends executive director Louise Coleman is headed to trial for felony animal cruelty.

According to our sources, the judge set the trial date for Nov 28. The trial is expected to last three to four days. The Assistant District Attorney said the Commonwealth has 500 pages of documents, including inspection reports, letters from other rescue organizations, and photographs.

Hopkinton Police Investigate Motor Vehicle Crash on Lumber Street

The Hopkinton Police Department is actively investigating a serious motor vehicle crash that occurred on Lumber Street. At approximately 5:45pm the Communications Center received a 911 call of a motorcycle crash into a tree. Dispatchers immediately began offering Emergency Medical Dispatching instructions and dispatched public safety resources to the scene. On arrival units discovered a 46 year old Hopkinton man with critical injuries. The man was conscious and speaking at the time of his transport to the hospital.

Video: Selectmen Recognize Hopkinton HS Senior, Ben Scire for Philanthropist Award

Hopkinton High School Senior, Ben Scire recently received the "2017 Young Philanthropist Award" from the foundation of the Metrowest. Ben graduation from the foundation's Hopkinton Youth in Philanthropy program which is a semester long course on leadership and community philanthropy. Ben helped contribute nearly $11,000 to local non-profit organizations. View more in the video below.
