Celebrate the Jubilee of Mercy in November

The Xaverian Missionaries at Fatima Shrine invite you to Celebrate the Jubilee of Mercy in the spirit of the Beatitudes. Our next gathering will be on November 13 at Fatima Shrine, 101 Summer Street in Holliston beginning at 3:30 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM. The tenth and last presentation for the year will be guided by Sr. Maria Luisa Dallari and the Xaverian Missionary Sisters of Mary. The theme will be “Corporal Works of Mercy - Ministry with the Poor in Worcester”.

All are welcome. No charge and no reservations needed. Donations are welcomed!

Winter Parking Ban Starts November 15th

The DPW wishes to remind all Hopkinton residents of By-Laws pertaining to the parking of motor vehicles during the winter months.

Traffic Rules and Orders, Town of Hopkinton, Article lV, Section 8 “It shall be unlawful for the driver of any vehicle, other than for an emergency, to park said vehicle on any street between the hours of 1:00am to 6:00am from November 15 through April 1.

Veterans Breakfast November 4th

November is a month with many activities focused on veterans. Our monthly Vets Breakfast conforms to that trend.

Upton Woman’s Club Fall Fair

The annual Upton Woman’s Club Fall Fair will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Blackstone Technical School, 65 Pleasant St., Upton, MA from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The fair will feature: country kitchen, interior designs, gift baskets, pre-owned treasures, knitted & needlework items, raffles, and baked goods. There will be a food court which includes hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, clam chowder and apple crisp. A handmade quilt made by the quilting group will be raffled on the day of the fair. There will be 25+ vendors selling handbags, jewelry, cosmetics, lace items, and much more.

Primarily Potters Collective Exhibit and Sale

The public is invited to the Primarily Potters Collective Exhibit and Sale, running Nov. 18 through Nov. 20, at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts (98 Hayden Rowe St.). This annual exhibit is free to the public and guests can purchase handcrafted gifts and ceramic wares from the artists for themselves or as unique gifts for friends and family. The Primarily Potters collective is comprised of artists who have been exhibiting their work together for more than 10 years. A Meet the Artists public reception will be held Friday, Nov.

Operation Christmas Child is the world’s largest Christmas project of its kind and because of the generosity of people they have collected and delivered more than 135 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 150 countries and territories.
