The Xaverian Missionaries at Fatima Shrine invite you to celebrate the Jubilee of Mercy in the spirit of the Beatitudes at Fatima Shrine Hall, 101 Summer Street in Holliston. Our next gathering will be September 11th beginning at 3:30 PM and concluding at 6:00 PM. The Eighth Presentation will be guided by Group of Refugees from Middle East - Massachusetts. The theme will be, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called Children of God”.

All are welcome. No charge and no reservations needed.

The Upper Charles Trail Committee, Hopkinton Area Land Trust and Hopkinton Center for the Arts is hosting the 2nd annual "Art on the Trail" at the Center Trail. Various works of Art can be seen along the trail starting at Lumber Street up until the High School. Artists feature: Michael Alfano, Geri Holland, Real Housewives of Hopkinton, Boy and Girl scouts, Lauren Scheuer, Betstann Duval, Holliston Robert Adams Middle School and others. The art will be on display along the trail until September 25th.

Hillers Varsity Field Hockey took down Hillers Alumni 1-0 at a charity event at Hopkinton High School. The game was two 20 minute halfs, Maggie Dolan scored the lone goal early in the 1st half.

On this edition of HCAM news, we’ll get you up to date with the Summer Concerts on the Common series, Officer Thomas Griffin of the Hopkinton Police Department worked the last day of his 38 year career as a full time police officer, Project Just Because hosted Christmas in July and Courtney will get you up to date with our latest programming with the HCAM insider but first here are some of the latest happenings in town, you should know about.

As we move into our last month of Summer classes at the HCA, we are excited to continue to see so many new and returning faces to our fine and performing arts classes. Registration continues for summer classes. Check out the list of upcoming classes starting next week.

Last week, we were fortunate enough to have HCA instructor, board member, and professional photographer Lynne Damianos donate her time to photograph a number of classes. The photos (including the one seen above) are a great representation of what occurs here at the HCA on a daily basis. Thanks Lynne!
