In preparation for Annual Town Meeting, eHop (Educate, Engage, Empower Hopkinton) will be hosting its 4th Annual “Know Your Vote” live interactive call-in show on Monday, April 25 at 6:30-8:00 pm on HCAM-TV (Comcast 8/Verizon 30). This is your chance to get the answers you need from town officials before Town Meeting.

Absentee Ballots for Town Election Available

Absentee Ballots for the May 16, 2016 Town Election are now available at the Town Clerk’s Office. Absentee ballots are for those registered voters who will be unable to vote at the polls on election day due to: (1) absence from town during normal polling hours; or (2) physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place; or (3) religious belief.

Curling has come to the Blackstone Valley!

Due to overwhelming demand in the area, the Blackstone Valley Curling Club has formed and will hold a Learn to Curl event on Saturday May, 21, 2016 at the Blackstone Valley IcePlex, 121 Plain Street in Hopedale, MA. Conveniently located in the heart of the Blackstone Valley, the IcePlex is the perfect host and location for curling in the area.

The KeepSmilin4Abbie Foundation is hosting their second annual "Day at the Derby" Fundraiser. Head to the Warren Conference Center in Ashland, MA, on Saturday, May 7th from 12:00-4:00 PM. Dress in your Derby best: big hats for the ladies and bowties for the gents. Free Pasta Dinner at St. Paul’s April 27

A free community pasta supper is being held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 61 Wood Street (Rte. 135) at 5:30 p.m. on April 27. All are welcome to this event, which is being supported by the churches of the Hopkinton Christian Service Connection. This pasta supper is held for the community on the last Wednesday of every month.

The meal will feature pasta (gluten free available), vegetarian tomato sauce, meatballs on the side, green salad, bread, beverages, and dessert.
The pasta supper is free, although donations will be accepted.

New Musical Revue in Hopkinton Showcases the Songs of Female Writers of the Stage

Enter Stage Left Theater (ESL) presents Brought to Light: A Millennium of Women as Storytellers of the Stage, May 12-14, at the Hopkinton Center for the Arts (HCA). Written and directed by Mark DiCampo, this spring musical showcases some familiar songs and others that are rarely performed from shows such as Once Upon a Mattress, Little Women, Ragtime, and others. Performances are Thursday though Saturday at 7:30 PM at the Delbridge Family Performance Space at the HCA (98 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, MA). Tickets are $20 general admission and $15 for students and seniors (60+).
