Hopkinton Public Library Needs Your Support!

Attend the Planning Board Public Hearing - Monday, August 24 at 8:30 pm at Town Hall
The library expansion and renovation project continues to gather the approvals needed to break ground this winter. As another public hearing approaches, the project needs your support to keep moving forward as quickly and smoothly as possible! We encourage residents to attend the Planning Board's public hearing to approve the library's site plan at 8:30 pm on Monday, August 24 at Town Hall.

ROADWORK NOTICE

Roadwork is scheduled to begin on the following streets. Work hours will be approximately 7am-4pm on less otherwise noted.

Friday August 14th – Wood St – From Rocky Woods Rd to the Westboro line.

Monday August 17th – Wood St – From Elm St to the first Rt. 495 bridge.
Teresa Rd – Nicholas Rd to Alexander Rd.

Tuesday August 18th – Meserve St – Full length.

Wednesday August 19th – Wilson St – 1500’ North of East Main St to Smith’s Mill.
ROAD WILL BE CLOSED FROM 7AM-4PM.

Thursday August 13th – Main St – From Hopkinton Lumber to West Main St. 9am-3pm.

Hopkinton High School Ranked within Top 20 in the State

Niche.com, a website that ranks High Schools, Colleges and neighborhoods throughout the country ranked Hopkinton as the 12th best Public High School in Massachusetts and 9th overall for Academics. Overall the site ranked 14,431 high schools throughout the country based on key statistics and over 4.6 million opinions from over 280,000 students and parents.

Special “Hymn Sing” at St. Paul’s August 16th, Public invited to “Make a Joyful Noise”

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 61 Wood Street (Rte. 135) invites its friends and neighbors to attend a special “Hymn Sing” being held August 16 at the 10:00 a.m. Eucharistic service. Music minister Karen Scheffler will be leading the musical portion of the service, which will include St. Paul’s choir and musicians. Those in the congregation will be encouraged to sing along to the hymns, which are favorite hymns chosen by St. Paul’s parishioners.
