Average temperature during the week in Hopkinton was 34.4 degrees. Humidity was at an average of 42%, the peak was 47% while the lowest was 38%. Rain accumulated 0.00 inches last week.

The 8th seeded Hopkinton Hillers boys hockey team and 3rd seeded Canton Bulldogs met on Sunday March 19th at TD Garden for the Division 2 State Championship.

The Canton Bulldogs took the game 4 to 1 and capture the Division 2 State Championship. Pavit Mehra scores the lone Hiller goal while Jack Lang was tremendous in net. The Hillers finish the season with 20 wins and 5 losses, Canton finishes with the D2 State Championship title and a record of 22 wins and 5 losses.

A public reception was recently held at the Hopkinton Center for the arts to welcome a new art gallery display. The Display is entitled "Break Away" and features the work of two formidable female artists, Bobbi Gibb and Chelsea Bradway.

The show debuted during international women's month at the Lotvin Family Gallery and celebrates women's empowerment.

The #8 Seeded Hopkinton Hillers defeated #4 seeded Walpole Timberwolves in their State Semi-Finals matchup at Loring Arena in Framingham 5 to 1. The Hillers improved to 20-4-0 and advances on to the D2 State Championship to take on #3 Canton. #4 Walpole ends an incredible season with a record of 15-7-2.

In the first 3 rounds, Hopkinton defeated #25 North Attleboro 9-0, #24 Westwood 6-3 and #17 Norwood 5-3.
