Hopkinton Police Chief Search Committee Update

By contributor,

The Police Chief Search Committee is pleased to announce that it continues to make significant progress toward its goal of finding a permanent Chief for Hopkinton. The Committee’s activities to date have included a careful review of the credentials of a pool of twenty (20) qualified applicants, the completion of a phone screen with applicants of interest, and the completion of an extensive face-to-face screening with a narrowed-down field of 10 candidates. As a result, the Committee has determined that 5 candidates will be invited back to continue in the process.

Hopkinton Garden Club Brings Holiday Cheer!

By contributor,

November and December have been busy months for our club! With the cold weather fast approaching, we have turned our efforts to helping make Hopkinton a festive place for the holidays. You’ll see greens, lights, and wreaths on the Veterans Memorial Gazebo, the town library, the Ice House, the Doughboy statue, and the Historical Society. Holiday centerpieces were also created for the Veteran’s breakfast held at the Senior Center on December 5th.

Looking to Say "Happy Holidays" to Your Child's Teacher?

By contributor,

Do you struggle every year to find the perfect Thank You gift for your child's teacher? The Thank-A-Teacher program is a great way to say "Happy Holidays" to your child's teacher AND tell them that you appreciate the work that they do! Last December, over 150 teachers received Thank-A-Teacher acknowledgements from families. It's a popular program that recognizes teachers for their dedication, and helps to support their efforts to give students the tools and motivation to become lifelong learners. All proceeds fund Hopkinton Education Foundation grants in the schools.

Weather Forecast Forces Cancellation

By contributor,

This message is to inform you that due to the forecast for tomorrow, we are postponing the Hopkinton Middle School 2.62 Desire To Inspire Kickoff Run/Walk. A new date and time will be scheduled for the Spring with the hope that Mother Nature will cooperate.

We are excited about this program’s new curriculum and the special events that will accompany it. We will notify you when a new date is established, and look forward to this new event.
Sincerely,

Debra A Pinto
