Road Paving is scheduled for the following streets.

Appaloosa Cir - 9/11
Ridge Rd - 9/11
Breakneck Hill Rd - 9/12
Glen Rd- From Lumber St (S) to Breakneck Hill (W) - 9/12
Gibbon Rd - 9/13

Dates are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Work hours will be approximately 7a-5p.

Please do not park in the street as this will interfere with the asphalt paving operations.

Please expect delays and seek alternate routes when possible.

Middlesex Sheriff’s Office urges residents to be alert for continuing arrest scams

The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office is continuing to urge area residents to be alert for ongoing phone scams in which the perpetrators are posing as members of the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office (MSO).

In recent weeks, numerous residents have reported receiving calls or voice messages from individuals claiming to be members of the MSO. In some cases, the callers are using the names of real MSO personnel and have – in some instances – told individuals to report to a legitimate MSO address to clear up the matters.

Treasurer Goldberg and ABCC Launch "Operation Safe Campus"

The Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission (ABCC), under the direction of State Treasurer Deborah B. Goldberg, has launched Operation Safe Campus. The annual program is designed to target underage drinking on college campuses and in surrounding communities to prevent tragedies by keeping alcoholic beverages out of the hands of underage students. This initiative begins each year when students return to colleges and universities throughout the Commonwealth.

Watch Now: Select Board Approves New Elmwood School Plan

The Elementary School Building Committee presented their budget proposal for the Elmwood school replacement to the select board.

The revised construction estimate presented was approximately 10.2 million dollars less than back in March 2023. The project is expected to receive about 50 million dollars in reimbursements including 44-46 million from the Massachusetts school building authority, 2 million from the Mass Save Program and 5 million dollars in inflation reduction act rebates.
