Hopkinton town hall would like to remind residents that quarterly real estate taxes are due on Thursday November 1st!

"Real Estate bills are mailed out semiannually in late June and December. They are due quarterly on the 1st of: August – November – February – May

The next Real Estate Tax payment will be due on November 1, 2018 (2nd Quarter of FY19) If you are using your own banks online service, please add a memo with your Parcel ID for Real Estate bills and License Plate number for Motor Vehicle bills. Addressed to: Treasurer’s Office 18 Main St, Hopkinton, MA 01748."

There will be a test of election equipment to be used at the State Election on November 8th, 2018. All residents and interested parties are welcome to come and observe the test.

Town of Hopkinton Seeks a FT Heavy Equipment Operator for its DPW Department

This position will work under the supervision of a Highway Manager. Operates a variety of motor driven vehicles and equipment including trucks with a rated capacity of more than 26,001 lbs. G.V.W. (Gross Vehicle Weight), tractors, road sweepers, etc. in the provision of public works services; performs all other related work as required.

Qualifications - Applicants must meet the following to be considered qualified for this position:

LOWELL, Mass. – Professionals from five community organizations convened in Lowell for three days last month to discuss ways to better support former inmates seek and retain employment.

At this weeks Board of Selectmen meeting, the Selectmen unanimously confirmed two Town Manager employee appointments. David Nalchajian will serve as the towns new "Senior Accounting Manager/Town Accountant". Benjamin Sweeney will serve as the towns new "Procurement and Grants Manager".

The Hopkinton Historic District Commission has hosted 2 public forums regarding expansion of the towns Historic District. The first public forum took place at the Hopkinton Public Library and the 2nd at Town Hall. If you would like to give feedback regarding the Town's Historic District, the next public forum will take place on Thursday November 1st at 7pm in the HCAM studios.
