Roadwork Notice: Streets Scheduled to be Resurfaced This Year

By contributor,

As we approach the start of our roadway resurfacing season I would like to thank the residents of Hopkinton for their continued support of our Pavement Management Program. We had a very successful 2016 season and hope to continue that in 2017 as funding allows. Each street that is on this year’s list has been inspected and evaluated to determine which treatment method is best based on its current condition. This will help ensure that we are maximizing the use of our roadwork funding.

Public Notice: Fire Flow Test on Parkwood Drive at 9am Thursday

By contributor,

On Thursday, April 27th, a required fire flow test will be done on Parkwood Drive at approximately 9:00AM. EMC/DELL will be conducting required fire flow tests on South Street, Saturday morning at their facilities, April 29th. You may notice some discoloration in the water during and after the test. This is due to the scouring of the minerals on the inside of the pipe. Please avoid doing any laundry or dishwasher loads during this time. Any discoloration that may occur will eventually dissipate.
