HCAM Hosts 203 Pond St Discussion LIVE on February 17th

On Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., HCAM will host a live public discussion on 203 Pond St ahead of town meeting on March 3rd.

Town moderator Bruce Karlin will host this informative discussion, aimed at providing the public with everything they need to know ahead of town meeting. Representatives from Hopkinton and neighboring communities will answer questions on the Community Preservation Act, Open Space, and other key issues relating to this vote.

What's new with the Upper Charles Trail Development in Hopkinton?

2015 has had a fantastic start as the committee begins the process to develop a Master Plan for the trail route. The vision for the town is to have a trail connecting with the Milford Rail Trail, leading to downtown Hopkinton, and ending at the Ashland town line. There are several route possibilities, including connecting through Legacy Farms North.

The Ashland-Hopkinton Fire Collaboration Study Group, assisted by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission and Municipal Resources Inc., will hold two public forums on the Ashland-Hopkinton Fire Collaboration Study project on the following dates and locations:

ESBC Reveals Site Matrix Ahead of Saturday Forum

On Tuesday, January 22nd, the Elementary School Building Committee met to discuss and compare possible sites for the Center School project.

The bulk of the meeting was spent evaluating the site matrix, comparing all 11 site possiblities on a wide range of criteria including program accomodation, district operations, and after construction effects on traffic.

ESBC Prepares for Second Forum at January's Meeting

Tonight, January 20th, at 6:30 p.m., the Elementary School Building Committee meets at HCAM studios for their monthly meeting. Their main topic of the night will be the evaluation of the site plan matrix, aimed at comparing each of the proposed sites. They will also discuss the enrollment and education plan task force's progress, and make final preparations for their second forum on the 24th.
