Elissa F. Katz, 72, of Hopkinton, passed away on Tuesday 12/21/2021. Born in Albany, New York, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Sokol and David Feinman. She was the wife of 50 years to Henry Katz.

In addition to her husband, Elissa is survived by her three children, Lona Moxim, Lindsay Katz, and Sasha Murphy, as well as her 7 grandchildren, Dyllan,Payton and Blake Moxim, Kelsey and, Austin LeBlanc, and Hannah and Jack Emmons. She is survived by her sisters, Pam Mazzone and Donna Wise and her brother, Barry Feinman.

Shirley B. (Stone) Grant, 92

Shirley B. (Stone) Grant, 92, of Hopkinton passed away on December 9, 2021 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Frederick Grant, Sr. Born in Ashland, she was the youngest of the ten children of Frank and Edith (Potts) Stone. She attended Ashland schools and graduated from Ashland High School in 1947. During her school years she made many friendships which lasted her lifetime.

Thomas Harris Astore, 60

Thomas Harris Astore, 60, of Hopkinton, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, December 3, 2021. Born in Astoria Queens, New York, he was the son of Ann Astore of Long Island, New York, and the late Anthony Astore. As he would say, he was married to his lovely wife Tina for 17 years. His sons Henry and Liam of Vermont were the most precious people in his life.

Mary Jo (Brennan) Duffy, 93

Mary Jo (Brennan) Duffy, 93, of Hopkinton, MA passed away peacefully on Friday, December 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving children. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, Dr. John H. Duffy. Daughter of the late William B. and Letitia (Farrell) Brennan, Mary Jo was born in Providence RI, and attended the College of New Rochelle where she graduated with a B.A. in Art and the Catholic University of America, where she earned an M.A. in History.

Norman J. Han, 50, of Hopkinton, passed away from esophageal cancer on Monday, November 29, 2021. His passing was peaceful, surrounded by family at home. Born in Seoul, South Korea, he was the son of Dr. Dae Suk and Duk Hwa Han.

David John Ivester, 67

David John Ivester, 67, of Milford and formerly Hopkinton, passed away on November 26, 2021 following a 5-month battle with cancer complications. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the youngest son of the late Louise (Rosenberger) and Charles Vincent Ivester and was predeceased by his sister Barbara Moser in 1994. He was the beloved husband of 47 years to Dolores (Sikora) Ivester.
