George Paul Reimann Jr., 84, of Hopkinton, passed away at UMass Memorial Medical Center on Saturday, August 22, 2020. Born in Needham, he was the son of the late Margaret (Atwood) and George P. Reimann Sr. He was the husband of 30 years to Nancy (Rising) Reimann of Hopkinton.

Joseph E. Bleakney passed away

Joseph E. Bleakney passed away peacefully at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI, on August 8, 2020, after a brief illness. Joe was born and raised in Framingham, one of four children to Charles W. and Rosemary Y. (Grant) Bleakney, Jr. He was a graduate of the J.P. Keefe Voc. Tech. H.S. and worked over 25 years at Air Products prior to being employed as a fiber optics and telecommunications project manager with XO Communications.

Richard A. Cronin, 77

Richard A. Cronin, 77, died Wednesday, August 12, in the Saint Camillus Health Center, after a period of declining health and a broken heart, three months after the death of Suzanne (LaFlash) Cronin, his wife of 54 years. He is survived by his daughter,Tricia Lambert, and his grandchildren, Noah, Tucker, Caroline (Coco), and Alexandra Lambert of Northbridge. His son, Timothy R. Cronin, died in 2018.

Ruth Lorraine Fecteau Holmes, 96

Ruth Lorraine Fecteau Holmes, lived her dash from September 5, 1923 to August 4, 2020 as a daughter of Wilfred Fecteau and Isabel DeWolf, wife of Robert Swasey Holmes, and mother to Lorraine, affectionately known as “Muffet”, Holmes Martorana. Ruth passed peacefully at the age of 96 in the loving care of Hospice of the Valley in Gilbert, Arizona due to COVID.

Kevin M. Kenney, 68

HOPKINTON - Kevin M. Kenney, 68, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Milford Regional Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ruth (MacMillian) Kenney.

Kevin was a 1970 graduate of Hopkinton High School. He was owner and operator of Central Cleaners in Milford for over 20 years. He was an avid Red Sox fan and loved his dogs Tukka and Fenway. He enjoyed frequent trips to Cape Cod.

Kenneth Wayne Chouinard, 84

Kenneth Wayne Chouinard, 84 of Ashland passed away Mon July 27th after a period of declining health. He was the son of the late Louis and Ruth (Lougee) Chouinard and husband of 48 years to Theresa (Krivicich) Chouinard. Growing up in Hopkinton, Ken eventually moved to Ashland and was a contractor and carpenter in the area for many years until his retirement. Beloved by his clients and subs, he prized the personal connections created through his work, as well as the craft itself.

Norma Hazen Nordstrom, 88

Norma Hazen Nordstrom passed into Eternal Life on Sunday, July 26, 2020, after a year-long battle with cancer. Born in Newton on December 14,1931, she was the daughter of the late Mabel (Wildman) and Lloyd Hazen. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Paul of 65 years who passed away in March 2020.

Margaret Agnes Nichols (nee Lynch), 81

Margaret Agnes Nichols (nee Lynch), 81, of Bradenton, FL, went to meet the Lord on Sunday, July 19, 2020, while in Hospice care. She had suffered many years with Lupus and COPD. Margaret was born on April 20, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY to Mary and Cornelius Lynch. She is survived by her son Kevin Riess (Cheryl), grandsons Kevin, Brian (Maadiah), and Scott (Lauren), three great granddaughters and one great grandson. Also survived by siblings Mary Bodnar of SC, C. Pat Lynch of MA, Helen LoTruglio (Joseph) of CA, and many, many nephews and nieces.

Katrina Hope Yip, 47

Katrina Hope Yip, 47, of Hopkinton, passed away after a 15 year war with leukemia. Born in Kittery, Maine, she was the daughter of Judith Anne (Hosmer) Lincoln of Hopkinton and Peter Souther Lincoln of Florence, MA. She was the beloved wife of 14 years to Tyler Joseph Yip of Hopkinton.

With tremendous empathy for all living creatures, Katrina had a particular soft spot for senior rescue pets, and is preceded by cats Narnia, Nora, Nikki, Whitley, Xander, and Sirius, and guinea pigs Squealie, Mal, Lennie, Pigwidgeon, Neville, Vesper, Henry, Artie, Monroe, Linus, and Miles.
