Born in Framingham, he was the beloved son of the late Hazel (Luigi) and Arthur Irvine. He was the husband of the late Susan (Daniels) Irvine and the late Doris (Wright) Irvine.

Michael A. Vento, 39, died suddenly Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Hayward Hospital in Gardner. He was the son of John Vento of Fitzwilliam, NH and Pamela (Price) Vento of Winchendon.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Colby of Grafton and his brothers, John and Daniel of Greenville, NH and Justin of Winchendon. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Curtis D. Melvin, 81, died Wednesday November 13, 2013 in Framingham. He was the loving husband of Grace K. (McCarthy) Melvin for 56 years. Born in Hopkinton, he was the son of the late Curtis H. and Grace A. (McDormand) Melvin.

He was a 1950 graduate of Hopkinton High School, a 38-year employee of Raytheon, a member of the YMCA Hopkinton Camp and Building Committee and Indian Guides, a long-time volunteer at St. John’s Parish and a long-time member of the Raytheon Management Club and Golf League. He also served in the U.S. Air Force.

Elizabeth R. "Betty" Donovan, 90, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013. She was the beloved wife of Roy E. Donovan, to whom she was married for 67 years. She lived a life of great love and courage. After suffering a stroke four years ago, she celebrated each day and continued to participate and enjoy every family occasion. Born in Hopkinton, she was the daughter of the late William and Theresa (Welch) McBride. She was the sister of the late William McBride and the late Theresa M. Shea.

daughter of Philip and Cecile (Lessard) Bedard of Alexandria, NH. She was
the wife of 32 years to Robert Colella of Hopkinton.

Suzanne had worked at the former Dr. Butterfield Optometry Office in
Holliston.
