Julia Harris, 89 of Hopkinton passed away peacefully at home on January 11, 2023. She was the daughter of Max L. Huber and Minnie (Johnson) Huber. She leaves her devoted husband and caretaker, Donald of 68 years.

Huldege “Ed” Degre, 92

Huldege “Ed” Degre, 92, of Hopkinton, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Born in Woonsocket, RI, he was the son of the late Exilena (Gagne) and Aldo Degre. He was the beloved husband of 67 years to Jeanne A. (Lussier) Degre of Hopkinton.

Ed proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He had a long career as a crib tool attendant at Rolls Royce Naval Marine in Walpole. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards, and puzzles, as well as watching sports and westerns. Ed was a quiet man with a dry sense of humor and will be missed by many.

Lourdes G. Lirio, 76

Lourdes G. Lirio, 76, formerly of Spotswood and Robbinsville, NJ, died Monday, December 26, 2022 at Milford Regional Medical Center (MA). She was the wife of Victorino Lirio to whom she was married for 50 years. Born in Taal, Batangas, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Maximino & Ester Gahol.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Richard and wife Catherine Trinh-Lirio and Vincent and wife Teresa Ona Lirio and her five beloved grandchildren, Alysa, Sophia, Kailyn, Brandon, and Dylan.

Doris Marie Carver, 91

Doris Marie Carver, 91, of Hopkinton, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on December 23, 2022. Born in South Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Aldina (Silva) and Charles Pitty.

Doris was born in 1931 and was raised in South Boston, attending Gate of Heaven School. She met and married the love of her life, the late former Hopkinton Police Officer, Harry Carver, and together they moved their family of 8 children to Hopkinton, a community she loved for all of her years.

Doris Davis, 95, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at home. She was the wife of Ray Davis, to whom she was married for 54 years. Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mildred (Dulong) Hemeon.

Dorothy Jeannette Randall, 95

Dorothy Jeannette Randall, 95, of Hopkinton, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Marlborough. Born in Somerville, MA, she was the daughter of the late John and Bessie (Angell) Sables. She was a 1945 graduate of Hopkinton High School and a lifelong Hopkinton resident.

Jeanne M. Martin, 81, of Hopkinton passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham after a long battle with dementia. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Nina (Hamilton) and Edmund Christian of Westborough. She was the wife of 64 years to Joseph A. Martin.
