HOPKINTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES OFFICE HOURS

School Committee will hold Office Hour at Bill's Pizza on Main Street on April 29, 2014, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Two members of the School Committee will be on hand to field questions and listen to feedback regarding topics on School Committee meeting agendas, items specified for public comment, or items within the scope of responsibility of the School Committee.

New Junior Prom Location Is Set

This past week a 3 alarm fire started by a cigarette dropped in mulch burned down the Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough, which was to be the site of the Hopkinton Junior Prom next month. Owners of the Lakeview Pavilion confirmed they will rebuild. Principal Evan Bishop with the help of Ms. Greco, Mr. Golden, class officers and the prom committee decided the new venue for the Junior Prom on Friday May 16th will be Granite Links Country Club at Quarry Hills.

2.62 Mile Marathon Challenge

You are cordially invited to participate in the Hopkinton Middle School 2.62 mile Marathon Challenge. This school-wide 2.62-mile run/walk will take place on Wednesday, April 16, weather permitting, at 12:00 PM. It will start at the flagpole in front of Hopkinton Middle School, proceed around the campus and finish on the track behind the school. This event is part of a yearlong school-wide 21st century interdisciplinary theme that focuses on Greece and the Marathon. Please RSVP to dpinto@hopkinton.k12.ma.us by Friday, April 11.

Educatius has been placing international students in Hopkinton High School since the inception of the international program four years ago. Your local coordinator Ann Northup is 5 minutes away, or a phone call away and ready to support you and her students with home visits, monthly check-ins and any back-up you might need including a place to stay if you need to leave town.
