Hopkinton Volleyball Hosting “DIG PINK” for Cancer Research and Support

The Hopkinton Hiller Volleyball teams will host a DIG PINK match at the Hopkinton High School Athletic Center on Wednesday, October 2nd, to raise awareness of the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer.

The Hillers will be facing the Ashland Clockers on this special night. The fun begins at 5:30 with the JV match at the High School Athletic Center and the Freshman match at the Hopkinton Middle School Brown Gym. The Varsity match will start at approximately 6:30pm at the Athletic Center.

HHS Back To School Night on Thursday

Please join us at Hopkinton High School on Thursday evening, September 26th, for our annual Back-to-School Night. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your son or daughter’s teachers and learn more about the high school program. Teachers use this occasion to discuss the content of their courses, expectations for students, and the best way to contact them.

Wildcats Top Hillers

The Hiller 8th Grade Boys' Soccer Team lost to Weston Middle School 1-0 despite dominating the time of possession and outshooting Weston. Playing extremely well for the Hillers were Nate Pucci, Robbie Hart, Jay Tomlinson and Connor Delaney. The boys play Weston again on Thursday in Hopkinton.

HHS Principal Mike Cournoyer on Leave of Absence

According to an article posted on the MetroWest Daily News website this morning, Hopkinton High School Principal Mike Cournoyer is on leave of absence effective Thursday, September 19. In answer to an email inquiry by HCAM News, School Committee Chairman Nancy Burdick confirmed that Cournoyer is on leave and that Assistant Principal Evan Bishop is "filling in for the time being."

The entire Town of Hopkinton offers our deepest sympathy to the Family. Hopkinton Youth Services will work with the Hopkinton Public Schools to support any child or family in need.

A Win for Boys Cross Country

Coming back from a tough loss against Norton, the Boys Cross Country team came out on top against Dover-Sherborn today with a final score of Hopkinton 25, Dover-Sherborn 30.

"What a great day for a race," said Coach Fairbanks. "We pulled it off. Nice effort by all."

Top runners for Hopkinton included Evan Park finishing second with a time of 14:48, followed by Kyle Driscoll at third with a time of 14:57.
