Hopkinton High School Students To Perform At Central District MMEA Senior High Concert Festival

The following students have been selected to perform, based on their successful auditions, in the 2018 Central District Massachusetts Music Educators Senior High School Festival at Mechanics Hall in Worcester, MA on Saturday, January 13, 2018.

The Friday after Thanksgiving is always significant with High School Reunions. Well it is no different in Hiller Country.

Hopkinton High School Alumni from 1995 to 2017 made up 12 teams for the 16th Annual Tom McIntyre Turkey Bowl sponsored by the Hopkinton Boosters Club. Tom McIntyre sponsored a team and played every year since the start and it was fitting this year to name the event in his honor.

For the 3rd consecutive year, Hopkinton High School hosted the annual Top of the Hill Ceremony. The program started by HHS Assistant Principal, Josh Hanna recognizes Hopkinton High School alumni who have great achievements and contributions in their professional career or community.

This year 4 HHS Alumni were honored, Scott Mackin (Class of 1986), Mike Whalen (Class of 1968), Sarah Ellam (Class of 1998) and by surprise Josh Hannah (Class of 1995).

Hopkinton Education Foundation Trivia Night Raises $2,500 for School Grants

Another successful HEF Trivia Night in in the books! A big thank you to all of the enthusiastic trivia fans who formed teams within the first few weeks of announcing the event. We had a full house with excellent participation.

Hopkinton High School Presents "Seuss" with an Edge

Students at Hopkinton High School will present a socially relevant spin on Dr. Seuss’s beloved children’s books when they present “Seussical, the Musical,” in late November.

Hopkinton High School Senior, Ben Scire recently received the "2017 Young Philanthropist Award" from the foundation of the Metrowest. Ben graduation from the foundation's Hopkinton Youth in Philanthropy program which is a semester long course on leadership and community philanthropy. Ben helped contribute nearly $11,000 to local non-profit organizations. View more in the video below.

19th Annual Student Run Turkey Drive

Hi all- a reminder that the 19th annual student run Turkey Drive is next week. Ethan Kramer ([email protected]) and Kevin Sullivan ([email protected]) are co-leading the drive this year. They will happily accept grocery store gift cards or cash (that I will change into grocery store cards).

EHop to host public forum on Hopkinton School and Town Fields

As Hopkinton looks to invest in new school turf fields, continues work on a pavilion at the Fruit Street Athletic Complex, and discusses options to improve field security, residents are invited to attend an eHop public forum titled eHop’s Spotlight on Town Fields on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 7:00PM at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 20 Church Street, Hopkinton. This forum will take a citizen’s look at all fields in town—how they are used, managed, scheduled, and maintained—and will give residents a chance to ask questions of town officials.
