The Cops for Kids with Cancer organization in coordination with the Hopkinton Police Department presented Hopkinton Middle School Student, Gabriel Sanchez with a $5000 check to help his fight against Cancer.

Chairman and State Police Lieutenant, William Coulter along with retired Chairman and Super Intendent-in-Chief of the Boston Police Department, Bob Faherty presented the check. View scenes below.

HHS Drama Ensemble Presents "Radium Girls"

In 1926, radium was a miracle cure and Madame Curie, an international celebrity. From body lotion to tonic water, the popular new element brightened the otherwise dark years of The First World War. Hundreds of girls toiled amidst the glowing dust of the radium-dial factories, luminous watches being the latest rage on the front lines and in the storefront. With such a coveted job, these girls were considered to be the luckiest alive - until they began to fall ill with a mysterious disease.

The annual Hopkinton High School Science & Engineering fair took place this past Tuesday. The event featured it's highest participation rate throughout it's history. 97 students presented 51 projects, a total of 12 projects were chosen by judges to advance on to the regional contest at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. This year, the program was organized by Science Teacher, Kristen Murphy.

Blackstone Valley Wealth Management Announces 2019 Scholarship for Hopkinton HS Senior

–Blackstone Valley Wealth Management is pleased to announce the offering of a $1,000
scholarship to be given to a Hopkinton High School student graduation this spring. To be eligible for the Blackstone
Valley Wealth Management Annual Scholarship, the student must be:

• Currently a senior at Hopkinton High School, graduating in 2019.
• Planning to pursue a higher education at a college or university immediately after high school
• A child in a single-parent home who can display financial need.

2019-2020 Kindergarten Registration Now Open!

2019-20 Kindergarten Registration is now available for children who are residents of Hopkinton. Children must be the age of five (5) years as of August 31st to be eligible for enrollment in Kindergarten.

Due to the incoming snowstorm, Hopkinton Public Schools have announced early dismissal Tuesday. High School and Middle School will dismiss 11:30am, Hopkins 12:15 (lunch served), Elmwood/Marathon 1:00pm (lunch served).

This past Monday, the Hopkinton Youth Commission hosted the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of service event at Hopkinton Middle School. The event featured a number of activities to help charitable causes and local organizations. Speakers included: African-American Storyteller, Valerie Tutson, Inspirational Speaker & Dancer, DJ Fadayz and former Buddhist Monk, Seth Monk. View more from the event in the video below.
