The Center School Re-use Advisory Committee hosted their 1st public forum on Wednesday (6/13) at the HCAM studios. During the forum, potential uses for the Center School building were discussed.

The Center School Re-use Advisory team includes: Claire Wright, Frank D'Urso, Michael Auen, John Pavlov, Rob Dobinski, Amy Ritterbusch, Jennifer Devlin, Darlene Hayes, Laura Barry, Ken Weismantel (Vice-Chair) and RIchard Flannery (Chair).

Hopkinton will celebrate the ribbon cutting for the new Marathon Elementary School on Saturday, June 9th, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The school will open for the 2018-2019 school year, serving Hopkinton’s kindergarten and 1st grade as well as the public pre-K program.

Video: Hopkinton High School Presentation Addresses Non-Tobacco Nicotine Delivery Products

A presentation entitled "get your head out of the clouds" was hosted by Hopkinton Public Schools along with the Hopkinton Police Department, Hopkinton youth and family services and the Hopkinton Health Department at Hopkinton high school.

The presentation informed about non-tobacco nicotine delivery products such as e cigarettes and the health risks from their use.

Hopkinton Education Foundation Announces 2018 Grant Awards

The Hopkinton Education Foundation (Ed Foundation) awarded 6 grants totaling over $55,900 to schools in the Hopkinton Public School system. These 6 grants were chosen as their ideas best met the foundation’s criteria for innovation and positively impacting the Hopkinton Public School System. After today’s announcement, the total funds awarded to the Hopkinton Public School system are nearly $1.3 million.
