HMS Baseball Update 5-25-2016

The HMS baseball team improved it record to 10-2 with a 9-3 victory in Ashland yesterday. Drew Saporoschetz and Nick Skiba pitched well giving up a combined 3 hits and striking out 12. Key hits in the game were by Ethan DeYoung, Alex Barker-Hook, Jack Ulrich and Drew Rancatore. Congratulations on an incredibly successful season. Players are reminded to turn in their uniforms this week.

Video: Hillers Girls Tennis Run Table on TVL opponents

The Hopkinton Hillers Girls Tennis team finished off the regular season on May 24th (Tuesday) by taking down Westwood 3-2. It was a special senior night for the Hillers as not only did they clinch the TVL title but they also finished undefeated against TVL opponents. The Hillers girls finished the season 15 and 2 overall and 15-0 against TVL opponents.

The HMS baseball team improved its record to 9-2 with a 7-5 victory over previously unbeaten Northboro Middle School. Drew Rancatore pitched 5+ innings of solid baseball. Jack Wehle had two hits and was outstanding defensively. He made the defensive play of the season, an ESPN highlight worthy play. Drew Saporoschetz played well defensively and had two hits. The team travels to Ashland for its last game next Tuesday.

Registration Open for Hopkinton Girls Summer Basketball Camp

Come work with the Hopkinton High School Girls Basketball Staff along with former and current Hillers Varsity players!

Players will work on individual skills through fun and competitive drills. Players will learn about team play and sportsmanship while gaining experience through a morning and afternoon game. Players of all abilities are welcome to environment. Be a part of the thirty-year tradition of work to improve their basketball skills in a fun Hopkinton’s “Bliss Camp.”

The HMS baseball team improved its record to 7-2 with an 8-5 victory at Nipmuc yesterday. Nate Bertucci-Bissonette and Nick Skiba pitched well. Leading the Hillers in hitting were Tommy Ambrosone (2 runs, 2 hits and 2 RBIs)Drew Saporoschetz (2 hits and RBIs) and Drew Rancatore (home run and 3 RBIs).
