The HMS baseball team improved it record to 10-2 with a 9-3 victory in Ashland yesterday. Drew Saporoschetz and Nick Skiba pitched well giving up a combined 3 hits and striking out 12. Key hits in the game were by Ethan DeYoung, Alex Barker-Hook, Jack Ulrich and Drew Rancatore. Congratulations on an incredibly successful season. Players are reminded to turn in their uniforms this week.
The Hopkinton Hillers Girls Tennis team finished off the regular season on May 24th (Tuesday) by taking down Westwood 3-2. It was a special senior night for the Hillers as not only did they clinch the TVL title but they also finished undefeated against TVL opponents. The Hillers girls finished the season 15 and 2 overall and 15-0 against TVL opponents.
The Hopkinton Hillers fell to 9-8 as they lost an exciting battle against the Medway Mustangs 12-11. The game went 8 innings as Medway improved to 15 and 4 and clinched the TVL title. Check out the highlights from an instant classic below. View the box score here!
The HMS baseball team improved its record to 9-2 with a 7-5 victory over previously unbeaten Northboro Middle School. Drew Rancatore pitched 5+ innings of solid baseball. Jack Wehle had two hits and was outstanding defensively. He made the defensive play of the season, an ESPN highlight worthy play. Drew Saporoschetz played well defensively and had two hits. The team travels to Ashland for its last game next Tuesday.
5/18/16 - In the TVL spring track and field championships, the Holliston Girls dethroned the 16 time defending champion Hopkinton Hillers and won their 1st TVL Track title since 1996. On the Boys side the Norton Boys took 1st place by just 2.5 points over Hopkinton 76-73.5.
