Hopkinton names new Fire Chief, Ashland Legion Tournament Recap and more.. On August 5th HCAM News!

On the August 5th edition of HCAM News, we’ll recap the Ashland Legion baseball commissioners cup run, the hangout hour took place in studio and was filled with lots of Hopkinton happenings and we’ll get you up to date on upcoming happenings in Hopkinton and Hopkinton Fire Chief, Stephen Slaman announced he will be retiring and a new fire Chief has been named and voted in by the Select Board.

HCAM News airs every Thursday on HCAM-TV at 6:30pm until 7pm to keep you up to date with all that is happening in Hopkinton.

Ashland Legion Baseball in the Chairman's Cup Tournament airing on HCAM, WACA and HCAT

HCAM will have live coverage of Ashland Legion Baseball in the Chairman's Cup tournament, games will also air on WACA in Ashland and HCAT in Holliston. Coverage will start at a time to be determined on Sunday and we will also have games Monday and potentially Tuesday if Ashland reaches the zone finals. Each zone will have a representing team for the State portion of the tournament, which starts next Friday (August 6th). Most games will take place at Mahan Field in Natick. Be on the lookout for live coverage on our Youtube page and HCAM-ED Channels.

Hillers New Varsity Football Coach, Mark Sanborn, Ashland Legion Update and More.. On July 28th HCAM Sports Talk!

Our 39th edition of HCAM Sports Talk Live will air on Wendesday, July 28th 2021 at 3pm. In the episode, we talk with Hillers new Varsity Football Coach, Mark Sanborn, we'll recap the Ashland Post 77 run in the Zone tournament and we have Hillers Football highlights from this past season in preparation for the upcoming season starting in August.

Ashland Legion Baseball Playoff Coverage on HCAM and WACA TV

Ashland Legion Baseball went 10 and 2 during regular season play and clinched the #1 seed in Zone 5. They will start their playoff run VS #4 Hudson on Tuesday Night (7/20) at 5:30pm. If they win Tuesday, they will play in the Zone Championship Wednesday (7/21) at 7pm for a trip to the State tournament in Quincy. The zone playoffs will be hosted at Mahan Field in Natick.
