Boys Cross Country: Hopkinton 18, Medway 45

The Boys Cross Country team won easily today against Medway at the Hopkinton State Park with a final score of Hopkinton 18, Medway 45. Taking first place for the Hillers - Sean Webster, followed by Kyle Driscoll in second. Taking time off from their last meet - Connor Murdock, Chris Todd, Jack MacDonald, Daron Arakelian, and Victor Chiang.

Terrence Mahon To Coach B.A.A. High Performance Group

Terrence Mahon has joined the Boston Athletic Association to lead and coach a high performance distance running initiative for the organization. The club will continue to be sponsored and supported by adidas, which has been the club's sponsor since 1992. adidas has been the athletic footwear and apparel sponsor of the Boston Marathon, the B.A.A.'s premier event, since 1989.

Mahon is considered a top middle distance and distance running coach, and he is credited with having developed or coached eight Olympians since 2005.

First Victory for Middle School Boys

The Middle School Boys' Soccer Team earned their first victory with a convincing 7-0 win over Dedham Middle School. The entire team played well. Hunter Clarke and Kyle Kauzens had a combined in effort on goal earning the shutout. The goal scorers for the Hillers were Owen Delaney (2), Ryan Covino, Jay Tomlinson, Connor Delaney, Nate Pucci and Devon Rutter. The boys play away on Thursday. Their next home game is Friday vs Wellesley at 4:00PM.

Hopkinton Youth Soccer Night at the Hillers

Hiller pride was in full force as both the girls and boys varsity soccer teams took on TVL rival Bellingham in a double header at the Fruit Street Athletic Complex on September 20th. The night also allowed for some of the Hillers' biggest and youngest fans to cheer the teams on, as aspiring Hiller soccer players from Hopkinton Youth Soccer were at the game for a night with the Hillers.

All of the fan support helped push the boys team to victory as they shut out Bellingham 1-0. However, the girls team couldn't rally against Bellingham, losing by a final score of 2-1.

Hopkinton Volleyball Hosting “DIG PINK” for Cancer Research and Support

The Hopkinton Hiller Volleyball teams will host a DIG PINK match at the Hopkinton High School Athletic Center on Wednesday, October 2nd, to raise awareness of the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer.

The Hillers will be facing the Ashland Clockers on this special night. The fun begins at 5:30 with the JV match at the High School Athletic Center and the Freshman match at the Hopkinton Middle School Brown Gym. The Varsity match will start at approximately 6:30pm at the Athletic Center.

The Hiller 8th Grade Boys' Soccer Team lost to Weston Middle School 1-0 despite dominating the time of possession and outshooting Weston. Playing extremely well for the Hillers were Nate Pucci, Robbie Hart, Jay Tomlinson and Connor Delaney. The boys play Weston again on Thursday in Hopkinton.

Coming back from a tough loss against Norton, the Boys Cross Country team came out on top against Dover-Sherborn today with a final score of Hopkinton 25, Dover-Sherborn 30.

"What a great day for a race," said Coach Fairbanks. "We pulled it off. Nice effort by all."

Top runners for Hopkinton included Evan Park finishing second with a time of 14:48, followed by Kyle Driscoll at third with a time of 14:57.

No Win for Girls Volleyball Against Barnstable

The Hillers girls volleyball team lost to Barnstable 3 sets to none during their second home game of the season on September 16th. The early season loss moves the team to 2-3 on the year.
