Hillers Girls Basketball Advance to Sectional Championship

On Wednesday Night (3/8) the 2nd seeded Hopkinton Hillers took on 6th seeded Marlborough in the Central D2 Sectional Semi-Finals at Worcester State University. The Hillers outscored Marlborough in all four quarters and took the game in dominant fashion 59-28. The Hillers improved to 20 and 2 on the season, Marlborough ends their season 16 and 7.

Hillers Hockey Loses in Double OT

In the South Division 3 Sectional Quarter Finals, #5th seeded Old Rochester/Fairhaven took on #4th Seeded Hopkinton.

It was a tough physical defensive game that featured many shots on net but not a lot of scoring throughout the first two periods. The 1st goal of the game came with 1:24 left in the 1st period. Senior Captain, Sam Henrie netted a wrister in the slot to make it 1-0 Old Rochester.

Hillers Girls Basketball Advances in Playoffs with Win Over Medway

Hopkinton Hillers Girls Basketball defeated the Medway Mustangs for the 4th time this season, 55-43. The Hillers took on and defeated the Mustangs in their 2 regular season meetings and also ended up knocking them out of the Westborough holiday tournament and playoffs.

2nd year Hopkinton Hillers girls varsity basketball head coach, Mike Greco led his team to a post season spot for the 2nd straight time. Last year the Hillers finished 15-7 overall last year and advanced to the regional semi-finals and fell to Notre Dame Academy.

The Hopkinton Hillers Boys Varsity Hockey team finished out the regular season with a 3-0 home win over Grafton. The game was a great battle between 2 very talented teams. The 1st goal of the game wasn't scored until 14:29 left in the 3rd period. Will Abbott hit a wrister from the left side for the first goal and then struck less than 2 minutes later with 12:42 left in the period from the slot. Abbott completed the hat trick on an empty netter with 35.3 seconds left.

Hillers Girls finish half of a point out of 1st in D3 State Indoor Track Meet

On Wednesday (2/15) at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Hopkinton finished in 2nd by a half of a point behind Concord-Carlisle in the Division 3 Indoor Track State meet. Concord-Carlisle was first with 64.5 while Hopkinton put up 64 points in a great performance.

Hillers Girls Erase 19 Point Deficit and Defeat Medway

After defeating Medway in their last meeting back on Jan 13th 57-27, the Hillers found themselves trailing on the road 23-4 with under a minute left in the 1st quarter during their 2nd game against Medway this season. The Hillers finished out the quarter trailing Medway 23-6 and dominated the 2nd and 3rd quarter to earn the 53-49 victory and improve to 15-2 (15-1) while Medway fell to 11-6 (11-6).

Hopkinton Hillers Hockey celebrated Senior Night prior to an 11-2 dominate win over Bellingham Saturday Night (2/4). After a Monday victory, the Hillers Hockey team is at the top of the TVL with 14 wins, 0 losses and a tie. Seniors this year include: Spencer Abbott, Tim Bloomer, Spencer Coveney, Nick Horgan, Tim McGrath, Will Pickens, Zack Rogers, Everett Rolph, Nick Temple and JH Vokey. Hillers Girls Swimming Wins TVL Title

Hillers Girls Swimming took home the TVL title at the league meet Sunday (2/4). Sophomore, Abbi Fischer was Hopkinton's lone double winner. The Hillers scored a total of 1,146.5 points while 2nd place Ashland scored 759. Hillers girls finished the season undefeated.
