Hopkinton Hillers Girls Volleyball Dig Pink Night is Tonight (10/15)!

Tonight the 11 and 2 Hopkinton Hillers Girls Volleyball team takes on the 6 and 4 Algonquin Tomahawks. Tonight's game is "Dig Pink" night and fans are encouraged to wear pink! There will be raffles and items for sale to raise money to help fight cancer. The JV game starts at 5:30 and the Varsity game is scheduled for 6:30pm in the Hopkinton Athletic Center!

-On Wednesday october 10th Hopkinton Hillers girls soccer picked up a big win over previously undefeated Holliston. Gabrielle Weilding was the difference maker, scoring the only goal of the game in the 2nd half. with the goal the Hillers girls are just 3 points away from clinching a playoff spot and improved to 6 wins, 3 losses and 3 ties on the season. Hopkinton girls have won 4 of their last 5 and have not lost a game since back on September 17th.

Hopkinton Hillers Golf Hands Dover-Sherborn 1st Loss

On Wednesday, Hopkinton Hillers Golf handed Dover-Sherborn their 1st loss of the season. Hopkinton got the 228-245 victory. Will Pawela shot a team low 34 and the team had their lowest overall score of the season. (Via @HillerAthletics Twitter)

Video: Hopkinton Hillers Sports Update 10-2-2018

On Friday (9/28) Hillers football fell to Ashland in a defensive battle 8-7. The Clockers found the end-zone late in 4th quarter and pulled off an epic extra point fake to convert for a 2 point conversion. Ashland improved to 4 and 0 while the Hillers fell to 2 and 2 on the season.

Also on Friday (9/28) Hillers Girls Volleyball earned their 7th sweep of the season versus Holliston. The Hopkinton Hillers take control of the top of the TVL with an overall record of 8 and 1 and league record of 8 and 0.

-The Hopkinton Hillers Varsity Girls Volleyball team earned their 4th shutout victory over Norwood on Friday to improve to 6 and 0 on the season. Hillers Volleyball is the last remaining undefeated team in the TVL.

-Hopkinton Hillers Varsity Football grabbed a 28-6 road win on Saturday (9/22) over Norwood. The Hillers are now 2 and 1 on the season.

-Ladies and Gentlemen, Hopkinton Middle School has a Football team and they took on Martha's Vineyard on Wednesday September 12th in their 1st ever game. Despite it being their 1st game, the team looked very impressive. 7th Grade Quarterback Isaiah Kuruvilla led the way rushing for two touchdowns and throwing for one in the Hillers 22 to 6 victory.

Varsity Finals:
Boys Soccer: Hillers Defeat Bishop Feehan 3-1. Hopkinton records 4th straight win and is now 4 and 1 on the season.

Girls Soccer: Bishop Feehan defeats Hopkinton 2-1. Hopkinton now stands at 1 win, 3 losses and 1 tie on season.

Girls Volleyball: Hopkinton picks up road win over Medway 3-1. Hopkinton remains undefeated at 5 and 0 on the season.

Last season, Hopkinton Hillers Field Hockey finished the regular season with 15 wins, 5 losses and a tie and earned the TVL crown along with Dover-Sherborn. Hopkinton went on to the playoffs and won 2 games but fell to Somerset Berkley in the Quarter finals to finish 17-6 and 1 overall.

After winning their 1st game 2-1 hosting Ashland on Tuesday September 4th, on Tuesday September 11th, Hopkinton Hillers Field Hockey improved to 2 and 0 with a 4-0 win over Bellingham. I caught up with the team captains and 13th year Head Coach, Joan Bannon after the game.
