Video: Hopkinton Hillers 2018 Girls Volleyball Preview

Hopkinton Hillers Girls Volleyball finished the 2017-2018 season with 22 wins and 3 losses. The Hillers fell to Newton North in the Division 1 State Championship. Last year was the first time Hillers Girls Volleyball competed in the Division 1 bracket and it was an overwhelming success. Hopkinton swept their way through 4 Sectional matches and then swept Andover in the State Semi-Finals before falling in the State Championship game.

Last season, Hillers Football finished with 11 wins and 1 loss overall and won the South Sectional Championship. After a tremendous season last year, this years Hillers Captains have big expectations. In the below video hear from this years Captains: Ryan Kelleher, Ryan Brown, Theo Cavallo and Luke D' Aloia.

Video: 2018 Annual Keep Smilin 4 Abbie Field Hockey Fundraiser

The 5th annual Keep Smilin 4 Abbie foundation Field Hockey event took place Saturday August 5th. The event took place at the "Teamworks" facility on 185 Otis Street in Northborough.

This years event featured the classic Hillers Alumni vs Current Field hockey team as well as the community teams and also several other schools including: Holliston, BVT, Tantasqua, Worcester South, Worcester Tech and Uxbridge joined in on the fun as well.

Video: Ashland Legion Baseball Week 6 Recap

A whole lot of Ashland Legion Baseball took place this past week and right now we will get you updated on all the action. On Monday July 9th 7 and 2 Ashland Legion Baseball hosted Natick. Bottom of the 3rd, 1 on 2 outs, Louis Rossi drives in Ben Thomas and that is all Ashland would need. Post 77 added 2 more runs in the bottom of the 6th and took the 3-0 shutout win over Natick. Shane Leary went the complete 7 inning shuout, striking out 3 and giving up only 3 hits.

Ashland Legion Baseball Returns to HCAM and WACA-TV for 5th Season!

For the 5th season HCAM TV in Hopkinton and WACA TV in Ashland will air taped broadcasts of Ashland Legion Baseball Post 77 home games and a few road games! All home games will be played at Ashland Middle School. HCAM's Tom Nappi will provide play by play of the games, Larry Saklad will provide analysis during the broadcasts while WACA TV will work the camera.

HCAM-ED airs on Comcast channel 96 and on Verizon channel 31. HCAM-TV is Hopkinton's Public and Governmental channel airing on Comcast channel 8 and Verizon channel 30.

Hopkinton Hillers Girls & Boys Tennis both qualified for the playoffs this season. The Hopkinton Hillers Girls Tennis team won the TVL and entered the South Division 1 Sectional Playoffs as the 2 seed. Hopkinton defeated Silver Lake in the 1st round with a 5-0 sweep and fell to Brookline in the quarterfinals 3-2. The Hillers Girls Varsity Tennis team finished the season with 17 wins and 2 losses overall.

Hopkinton Hillers Playoff Update 6-11-2018

Boys Tennis (South D2): #7th seeded Hopkinton Hillers Boys Tennis defeats Westwood on Wednesday (6/6) 4-1 and advance to play at 2nd seeded Dartmouth, Friday (6/8). Hopkinton Boys fell to Dartmouth 3-2 and finish season 12 and 6.

Girls Tennis (South D1): #2nd seeded Hopkinton Hillers Girls Tennis defeats Silver Lake 5-0 on Wednesday (6/6) and advance to host 7th seeded Brookline, Friday (6/8). Hopkinton Girls fell to Brookline 3-2 and finish season 17 and 2.
