Video: Hopkinton Hillers Girls Basketball Highlights 3-15-2018

-On Saturday March 10th it was the Division 2 central sectional finals, the Hopkinton Girls met up with the Medway Mustangs at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In the 1st quarter, Medway outscored Hopkinton 14-10. Olivia Gladu knocked down a 3 right at the end of the 1st quarter to give
the Hillers some momentum. The 2nd quarter was a defensive battle Hopkinton outscored Medway 9-5 and it was 19-19 heading into halftime.

Hopkinton Hillers Girls Basketball will play in State Semi-Finals Wednesday at Worcester State University

The Hopkinton Hillers advanced to the State Semi-Finals with a 46-39 win over Medway last Satuday. Regan Keavany led the way with 15 points, Ivy Gogolin added 12 points for the Hillers who improved to 19 and 4 on the season.

Due to the incoming snow storm, the Hopkinton Hillers girls will now play on WEDNESDAY March 14th 5:30pm at Worcester State University versus West Sectional Champion, Northampton.

After taking down TVL Rival Holliston in the first round 52-27, on Saturday March 3rd, The 4th seeded Hopkinton Hillers Girls Basketball team hosted the 5th seeded Medfield Warriors in the Central Division 2 Sectional Quarter Finals. Senior Forward, Regan Keavany led the charge with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Ivy Gogolin had 13 points of her own. Heading to the 4th quarter, Ivy only had 3 points but took over in the final 8 minutes. Calli Korbey got the ball with under a minute left and secured the victory with a 3 pointer.

On Saturday, March 3rd the Hopkinton Hillers took on Dover-Sherborn in the 1st round of the South Division 3 Sectional playoffs at Pirelli Veteran's Arena in Franklin, MA. Scoring Summary: 1st Period: 13:19 - Owen Delaney, 5:39 - Max Arnone (DS), 2:28 - Owen Delaney / 2nd Period: 12:13 - Will Abbott / 3rd Period: 14:00 - DJ Sloan, 11:09 - Andrew Gilbert, 6:39 - Will Abbott, 4:47 - Kyle Rogers. Hopkinton Goaltender, Dylan O' Leary saved 17 out of 18 shots.
Final: #2 Hopkinton - 7 VS #15 Dover-Sherborn - 1.

On Saturday March 3rd, the 4th seeded Hopkinton Hillers Girls Basketball team defeated #5 Medfield 49-42 in the quarterfinals round of the Girls Central Division 2 Sectionals. View Game Below!

On Tuesday March 5th, the 4th seeded Hopkinton Hillers Girls Basketball team defeated #2 Groton-Dubstable 43-39 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the semi-finals round of the Girls Central Division 2 Sectionals. View Game Below!

All MIAA Tournament Games for Friday March 2nd 2018 have been Postponed due to Weather

All of todays MIAA Tournament Games Have Been Postponed Due to the Weather.

Hillers Girls Basketball is now scheduled to host Medfield Saturday Night (Tomorrow) at 6pm

Hillers Boys Hockey VS Dover-Sherborn will now take place Saturday March 3rd 4:30pm at Pirelli Veterans Arena in Franklin, MA.

Video: Hopkinton Hillers Sports Update 2-28-2018

-On Monday February 26th, the Hopkinton Hillers hosted the Medway Mustangs in a 1st round playoff game. It was a back and forth battle throughout the first 3 quarters. Hopkinton outsored Medway in the 1st quarter 13-12 but the 2nd quarter was 17-12 in favor of Medway. The 3rd quarter was in favor of Hopkinton 15-14 which made it a 43-40 Medway lead heading into the 4th. In the final 8 minutes the Hopkinton offense struggled from the field and Medway outscored the Hillers 19-5 and took the game 62-45.

USA Women's Hockey Wins Gold!

Long after you may have been asleep, the USA Women's Olympic Hockey team took the Gold Medal with an overtime shootout 3-2 win over Canada. The game was absolutely amazing throughout. USA scored a goal in the 1st period, Canada answered with 2 of their own in the 2nd period and led 2-1 heading to the 3rd. USA tied it up in the 3rd and it remained tied throughout the 20 minute overtime period. USA took the win in the shootout, Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson scored the winning goal and gave USA the 3-2 Shootout win.
