The final hour is upon us folks! Super Bowl 52 will commence at 6:30 pm in Minneapolis, Minnesota where the New England Patriots will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles. These two teams have met previously in Super Bowl 39 and the Patriots were able to carve out a third title ring in four years. This time, the Eagles will be looking for revenge and hopefully bring a much needed championship to the City of Brotherly Love. Starting with the Eagles, I think they are the most skilled and versatile team in the NFC.

The Finish Line is in sight! Tomorrow, the New England Patriots will face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars and the winner gets their tickets booked to Minnesota to play in Super Bowl LII. The Patriots are coming off an impressive win against the Tennessee Titans and now are facing another AFC South team that is ready for the task at hand. The Jaguars were able to handily beat the favored Pittsburgh Steelers in Pittsburgh 45-42. Obviously, the main matchup to look for in this game is the Jaguar defense and the Patriot offense.

The journey begins here! The New England Patriots will play the Tennessee Titans today at 8:15pm. The Patriots, as they have done throughout their storied dynasty, have gotten a first round bye and will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Even though they were on a bye, there has been a lot of talk of the Patriots in the media specifically surrounding QB Tom Brady and Head Coach Bill Belichick. While some pundits are speculating that this might be the end of this power duo, no one does it better than the Patriots in blocking out the media and focusing on the task at hand.

What a game we got to watch on Sunday! The New England Patriots faced off against the Denver Broncos in a very cold Denver environment on Sunday night. The last time these two teams met in Denver, the Patriots lost a heartbreaker to the Broncos in overtime. Hoping to get revenge after that meeting, the Patriots came out firing in the first quarter. The special teams play during this quarter was phenomenal. The Patriots were able to recover a muffed punt by the Broncos punt returner and cashed it in with a touchdown reception by #34 Rex Burkhead by QB Tom Brady.

What a game we had on Sunday!

The New England Patriots faced off against the Los Angeles Chargers in a soaked Gillette Stadium. The Patriots won 21-13 in decisive fashion. QB Tom Brady had yet another standout game, throwing for 333 yards and a touchdown to TE Rob Gronkowski in the first quarter. The touchdown marked the 72nd time the two have connected for a score and it is the most TDs among any NFL duo since 2010. The Player of the Game for the Patriots, however, was kicker Stephen Gostkowski, who successfully made 4 field goals while playing in the elements.

With a month of football in the history books, the New England Patriots will travel to the Meadowlands to play their division rival New York Jets on Sunday. Both teams are currently tied for first place in the AFC East and a win on Sunday could have a momentous effect on how each team's season pans out.

What a great day to be a Bostonian! The 121st Boston Marathon took place today and it was certainly one to remember. The first winners to cross the finish line did so in record-breaking fashion. For the men's wheelchair race, in yet another close finish, Marcel Hug edged his long time rival, Ernst van Dyk for the victory. This victory gave Hug his third straight wheelchair title in the Boston Marathon. Hug, a 31-year-old Swiss native, set a Boston marathon record, finishing in 1:18:03.

It does not get any better than this: Super Bowl LI! The New England Patriots will play the Atlanta Falcons in Houston at 6:30 pm today. Yesterday it was announced that QB Matt Ryan, of the Atlanta Falcons, won the Most Valuable Player at the 6th annual NFL Honors. Ryan is very deserving of this honor as he has had the best season of his career, throwing for nearly 5,000 yards and 38 touchdowns. The Atlanta Falcons in all have a complete and versatile team with so many astute players on both sides of the ball.
