The Upper Charles Trail Committee unanimously voted at a meeting held on Wednesday, April 13 at 11 a.m. to recommend that no action be taken on its request for Community Preservation Committee (CPC) funding at the May 2, 2022 Annual Town Meeting.
According to Committee Chair Jane Moran, the committee is in a very different place today than it was when initially asked by the CPC to submit an application for funding, which included Segments 5 and 6.
With more public outreach taking place and planned for the future, and more feedback being received from the public, the Committee agreed that it made sense to hold off on the request for CPC funding until the Committee is able to review, consider and respond to public comments and feedback.
