Enter Stage Left Theater (ESL), the regional community theater of the Hopkinton Center for the Arts, announces three theatrical productions happening in August. Located at 98 Hayden Rowe Street (Rte 85), there is something for everyone to enjoy.

For families with young ones, look no further than "Seussical Jr. The Musical". “Oh, the thinks you can think” when Dr. Seuss’ best-loved characters collide and cavort in an unforgettable musical caper! Grab a lawn chair or blanket and join the youth cast in our outdoor amphitheater. Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in a fantastical musical extravaganza. August 5th & 6th.

In the event of rain this performance will move indoors to the Delbridge Family Performance Space. Directed by Eric Balboni and Alyssa Surrette
For adults and tweens, ESL Theater is delighted to present "Little Women The Musical" on August 12, 13, 19 & 20th.

Based on Louisa May Alcott's life, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. Little Women embodies the complete theatrical experience, guaranteeing a night filled with laughter, tears and a lifting of the spirit. Directed by Eric Balboni and Alyssa Surrette.

In an effort to reach patrons who might not otherwise be able to afford tickets to attend this production, ESL Theater is offering $10 tickets to attend the final dress rehearsal on August 11th.

And rounding out the month of August, ESL Theater will be presenting its 2nd annual "Play, Pint and Pie" evening of one act comedies. In an homage to the great tradition of Glasgow, Scotland theater, this one night only outdoor event on August 27th, for patrons 13 and older, will present five original one-act comedy plays (15–20 minutes each) from writers selected from all across the United States. Your ticket includes a pint of ale (or root beer for those under 21 years old) and a pie. A judging panel will vote for a winning writer, and audience members will get to vote for their favorite too! Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show.
