Town of Hopkinton Notifies Residents/Property Owners of Next Steps in the Main Street Corridor Project Easement Appraisal Process

The Town of Hopkinton via the Town Engineer’s Office on October 18, 2019 notified residents/property owners abutting the Main Street Corridor Project, who had previously provided the Town Engineer with their emails, of the next steps in the easement appraisal process for the Main Street Corridor Project.

Hiller's Dig Pink Fundraiser

The Hiller Volleyball Teams are excited to be part of The Side-Out Foundation and its Dig Pink initiative for the 10th consecutive year, and they need your help to make their campaign successful! They believe education is key to increasing knowledge about breast cancer and fundraising is essential to support further research. Funds raised for Side-Out go toward a clinical trial specifically for patients with stage 4 breast cancer, the most advanced form of the disease and the least funded area of research.

Ruth M. VanFossen, 69, of Holliston, passed away October 17th while surrounded by the eternal love of her family at the Rose Monahan Hospice House in Worcester. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Melia) and Arthur F. Kelley. She was the beloved wife of 47 years to Thomas Richard VanFossen Jr. of Holliston, MA.

BOSTON – The Massachusetts State Senate today passed An Act to protect persons with intellectual or developmental disability from abuse, also known as “Nicky’s Law,” and An Act Relative to Children’s Health and Wellness.

“As lawmakers, our number one job is to protect the most vulnerable among us and these pieces of legislation do just that,” said Senate President Karen E. Spilka (D-Ashland). “I am proud to see such overwhelming bipartisan support in the Senate for these bills and look forward to seeing them reach the governor’s desk.”

Hillers Boys Soccer enter their final 3 games of the regular season with a record of 7 wins, 6 losses and 2 ties. I caught up with this years Captains: Owen DiNicola, Tyler Zanini, Tim Fargiano and Nick Skiba as well as 16th year Head Coach, Garrett Sawyer.

Hillers Field Hockey currently has 5 wins, 7 losses and 4 ties and needs to win their final 2 games to get into the post season. Despite a season with some ups and downs, this years group is having a good time.

Video: Hiller Girls Soccer Defeats Norton

This past Tuesday, Hiller Girls Soccer took down Norton 2-0. Ashley Butler angled a nice goal from the corner of the box with just under 4 minutes left. Margie Allen added another goal just over 6 minutes into the 2nd half. The Hillers improve to 6-4-4 with the win and are only 2 points away from clinching a playoff spot.
