Hopkinton High School is pleased to announce that the Hopkinton School Committee unanimously approved moving forward with the 1-1 laptop initiative for the 9th graders at the high school next year at their meeting on Thursday, June 14th. 83% of parents in the incoming 9th grade class committed to either lease a laptop from the school or bring in their own device, which surpassed the 80% goal which was set by the administration. Students who are not leasing a laptop from the school or bringing their own device, will have access to a school owned laptop to use during the school day.
The class of 2016 will participate in the program throughout their 4 years of high school. The participation of future classes in the program will depend on parent support and the results of the program in the upcoming year.
