-Hopkinton Hiller Girls Basketball defeats Dover-Sherborn 66 to 50 (Jan 23rd 2026)
The Hiller Girls scored a whopping 46 points in the 1st half vs Dover-Sherborn and took a 46-23 lead into the halftime break. The lead ended up being too big for Dover-Sherborn to overcome as the Hillers took the win 66 to 50. Hopkinton improved to 10 and 2 and officially clinched a playoff spot.
In the Hiller win, Abbie Rabinovich (SO) netted 16 points, Teagan Resteghini (SR) tallied 11 points, Murphy Chatten-Guerette (FR) had an 11 point first quarter and 14 points overall. In the latest MIAA State Tournament ranking, the Hiller Girls are ranked 10th overall in Division 1.
-Hopkinton Hillers Boys Hockey defeats Bellingham 8-0 (Jan 24th 2026)
The Hillers captured a dominant win over Bellingham netting 2 goals in the 1st period and 3 goals each in the 2nd & 3rd period. Hiller Goal scorers included; Will Iantosca (SO) (4:01 – 1st), Matt Pedroli (SO) with a powerplay goal at 3 seconds left in 1st, Lucas Anderson (SO) (10:09 – 2nd), Connor Merkle (JR) on powerplay (4:58 – 2nd) and another Merkle goal at 2:44 left in 2nd period, Carl Gao (SO) (10:35 – 3rd), Brendan Jean (FR) (9:38 – 3rd) & Will Iantosca (SO) (4:35 – 3rd).
Hopkinton improves to 5-6-1 (W-L-T), Bellingham falls to (3-11-1).
