Charles A. Garbarino III, 74, of Plymouth, NH, formerly of Hopkinton, MA and Ashland, MA passed away Saturday June 20th at his home with his family by his side. Son of the late Charles and Janet (McIntyre) Garbarino Jr, he was the husband of Karen (Irvine) Garbarino. Charles served the Town of Ashland for 32 years as a police officer and detective with the Ashland Police Department retiring in 2010.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Charles Garbarino IV and his wife Amy of Holliston and their children, Matthew and Alyssa, Ann Marie Stephens and her husband Jonathan of Campton, NH and their children, Joe, Hunter, and Riley, and Michael Garbarino of Milford and his children, Taylor and Luca, sister, Carol Donoghue and her husband Thomas of Ashland, and brother, William Garbarino and his wife Patricia of Ashland, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be celebrated Friday June 26th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home.
